Great restaurant/bar with authentic Mexican vibe. Original and voted best hand made tortillas around. Foods are the real thing. Street taco 7 plate with a great margarita is a way to start. Check them out.

Enjoyed a late lunch there with some of my family members. The service was first class. The wait staff was outstanding and the food was excellent. We all felt like we were in a friend's home. Definitely will go back again!!! The prices were very reasonable.

This historic and iconic place is a must stop for our family whenever we are in old town San Diego. The handmade tortillas are perfect with the food. The dishes are authentic Mexican and always big portions. The house chips and salsa is the best. Try my favorite chili verde plate. It's the best!

Perfect spot for authentic, hand made tortillas/tacos. Taco Tuesday is always a great idea!

Grab some food here, then take a walk around Old Town and visit the cool little shops. More interesting things and better prices than downtown tourist shops.

It's clientele includes many famous celebrities (Bill Clinton and entourage, etc.).It's been in business for over thirty years. Whether it's a business get-together or just to dine in style with friends or family, this cafe is located in San Diego's historic eclectic Old Town where lies San Diego's past, centuries ago. It's a mustn't miss opportunity!

They hand make tortillas as you enter the restaurant! How awesome is that! The food is scrumptious! Spicy salsa just the way we like it! The drinks are very very good! I highly recommend this place for good food and good drinks!

Love this place my favorite of all old town restaurants. I have tasted several of their plates and everything is delicious. I especially love their handmade tortillas! I also enjoy the Iive music as it creates a romantic ambiance. Excellent service by everyone at restaurant. I know its old town but the restaurant could use some updating and be more attentive to bathroom cleanliness.

Place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Food is good, tortillas are okay when they get to your table, but eat them quickly cause they get stale in about 10-15 minutes. But I don't like to eat at a table when you're looking at a wall full of dust:/. I'm a vary easy person to please! (Happy, go, lucky). And the waiter did everything to please me and my family! Great job!! Just do a cleaning up the place once in awhile

They make all shells by hand so nice and fresh. Portions good size. Tuesday is special taco and drink day. I would come back again.

Can get busy at times, but aside from that, it's a good place for the *tourist* experience. Have been here several time, and I definitely have never been disappointed with their food. Sometimes they ask if you want corn tortillas, other times, they just give you flour tortillago for the corn. Beg for corn. ASK for corn tortilla.

What a great place to have breakfast! Authentic from the second we walkind in the door. Several ladies cooking tortillas near the ebterance and served hot to the table. Mark the waiter was full of personality and the food was amazing! My kids, normally picky eaters, sampled and loved everything.

A great recommendation from Paradise Point!

I generally feel like Old Town doesn't try very hard. Tourists keep them hopping and so they don't need to provide the quality of food and service that keeps locals coming back. I feel like OTMC is one of the rare exceptions to this mindset in this area. I'm really a fan of their mole. It's a solid bet if you're in the area for the day and don't want to leave OT to eat (which I'd normally recommend that a person do).

This has been my family's favorite Mexican restaurant for most of my life. Always busy but well worth the wait. Everything on the menu that i have tried has been so good!. My personal favorite is the 2 taco plate with beans and rice.
