Fun for locals and tourists alike.

Beware of the usual shenanigans you expect of an urban park. When we were there, some little kids were trying to start a fire, and some cyclists put it out with their water bottles. And folks in various altered states were wandering about, though pleasant enough.

My favorite park. Beautiful year round, very crowded in summertime with people swimming and hiking, but it's still my favorite time to go. There are enough evergreen trees that the forest still looks green in the cold months. Plenty of waterfalls, not just the big main waterfall. I live an hour away from here, but still make the drive at least once a month to visit this incredible location.

Great short walk for a mid day stroll. Went walking here near sunset and it got dark during the walk. Simple loop made it easy to get back to the starting point though.

Nice, free, and close walk. The falls are picturesque but unspectacular. Don't miss the nearby fish hatchery to make you ponder how they get to your plate.

Great place to take kids, so the can run off energy. Lots of places to sit and watch. Picnic areas everywhere. Fish hatchery and falls. Can't wait until I can explore more of the park.

Absolutely beautful. Walking in the forest along a beautiful creek. Swimming available in pools along the creek. Love every minute of my visit. Pet friendly. Lots of bike riding and hiking. Very easy walking.

Possibly the best park in Bellingham! The trails are fantastic and plentiful. The trees in this park are incredible. There are also multiple waterfalls and the iconic bridge. Two playgrounds. Multiple swimming and fishing holes too. There are also a couple awesome new pump tracks for riders of all skill levels.

Such a beautiful place to get away from The Daily Grind in the middle of Bellingham. Quiet and peaceful, it let me indulge in my passion for nature photography. The park is extremely well kept and is accessible two people of all levels of movement. So thankful to have areas like this, keep up the good work everybody!

Totally did not expect the park to be this large! The falls are cool and the water is clear and fun to swim in if you're brave enough to take a jump off the top of the falls into the pool below.

There are plenty of trails around the park and one could definitely spend the afternoon here if you brought lunch.

Whatcom Falls Park has a great variety of activities! Miles of gentle trails to walk and run; easy enough for a jogging stroller. A Derby pond where you can fish and feed ducks. Playgrounds for toddlers and big kids. By the big playground there are also tennis courts, a basketball court, and a brand new bike track. And of course, there are many waterfalls along the creek!

There is a stream that runs through the park and there are trails around this stream. The stream becomes small waterfalls at times, which are really nice. There is a stroller/wheelchair accessible path as well, but that's only a part of the trail.

Very nice park to spend the afternoon on a sunny day. Enough place for kids/pets to run around and play. Good toilet facilities as well.

One of Bellingham's many treasures. In addition to the falls, there is space for playing, picnics, multiple trails, pond, two playgrounds, basketball court, tennis court, a new bike park, multiple restrooms! A perfect place for the whole family to spend a day, and it's free! Also, the trails through the woods are cool on the hottest days! There's too much to do for just one visit!

Great hike around the falls. Amazing bridge and beautiful nature trail. Would recommend for all ages for a nice day out.

Can be quite busy on the trails, and getting a nice photo on the bridge is tough with the huge number of people coming through. Otherwise the stroll along the riverside is very peaceful. And the parking is free.

It's always a blessing to see a waterfall. This one is short in length as compared to others that I have seen, but still quite majestic. There's a lovely bridge between the waterfall and a not-so- sliding- friendly water slide.

The park is very romantic, and easily accessible from the parking lot. I kind of wish it was more of a pursuit to get to the fall, but that's not a deal breaker.

To top it off though, as we were leaving, a lovely dear stared us down across the parking lot, and another was running and playing behind what I believe was the park's public restrooms. Pretty cool!
