  Incredible scenery with very little effort. My dad's favorite thing is to be in the mountains and out in nature, but he has not had the health to be able to go on a hike in a long time. This was perfect for him - he had the biggest smile on his face. Beautiful views of Baker and Shuksan, with only a short walk from the parking lot. Definitely don't expect a ton of privacy as it is very popular, but for good reason.

  One of the most beautiful places I have seen in my travels and I have been to almost all 50 States. If you are handicapped there is still places a regular wheel chair can go and if you have an athletic wheel chair you can go on lots of the trails. It was windy and cold in September but so beautiful. You can see the mountain so clearly it really looks like a painting, I am assuming that's why it's named Artist Point, but that's just a guess.

  Parked at the farthest parking lot at the ski station and snowshoed to artist point last weekend. The views were amazing and the sky was clear. Just short of 4 miles round trip. Pictures of table mountain and Mt Baker from the trip below.

  Beautiful, I can not believe we live in Seattle for 18 years and only now made it to Mount Baker in the summer. Perfect for families with kids. We ate a lot of wild blueberries.Lots of lakes to see and awesome vistas.

  Beautiful place to park [free!] and explore for a few hours. Amazing views in every direction and hundreds of trails to explore, at whatever difficulty level interests you. Duly recommended!

  Absolutely amazing. Nature in its best! Easy drive up on an beautiful road. 360 views open up.. endless photography options. Lots of different hikeing trails from very easy to intermediate to hard. Pictures are taken and posted on August 12 2017.

  Superb scenic beauty. It's almost July and still most of it is covered in snow. You'll enjoy the view of both sides of the valley. One side faces Ross lake while the other opens up the north. You'll get nice view of Mt Shuksan during sunset and Mt Baker during sunrise.

  Lovely place to visit. We went snowshoeing before the end of the season. Its nice that dogs are welcome as majority of them were well behaved. Only downside is that the owners are not picking up their dog's feces. I wish they were more aware and considerate.
  The hike/snowshoe can be easily done in more/less two hours, but we ended up staying for almost six since we kept exploring the area. Views of Mt. Shuksan and Mt. Baker from this point are just breathtaking.

  Amazingly area! Gorgeous hiking trails start from here. The only downsides are the crowdiness of the area and the small bathrooms. Once you go about 1 mile away from the trailhead, you loose about 90% of the crowds. We hiked the Ptarmigan Ridge trail. It can get a little rugged a ways in, including some sketchy snow crossings–nothing I'm not used to, however. Experienced hikers should have no problem.

  Make sure you hike up to see the panoramic view of both mountains. The lakes and ponds are extremely photogenic. Almost no vertical climb but there are hills.

  A bit of a drive to get there.
  
  We like taking guests from flat places there in the summer to play in the snow.
