My brother in law booked us rooms in October for a December stay (there was 10 of us so we wanted to make sure we had rooms close to each other). My brother in law called a few days in advance to make sure our booking was still good, and the hotel said it was. We get to the hotelit took is 30+min to check in as they couldn't find our reservation. The manager comped us $40 bucks off our first night, so that was fine. But then After we check in they stated they were shutting water off from 12am-6am to "fix something". It is now 8am, we are ready to start our day and NO WATER! One of our rooms had barely any light (only two small lamps) ones air conditioning barely worked, and now the water issue. Will NOT come back to this hotel.

Don't let the cheap hotel rooms fool you.. they offer "free shows" for an obligated timeshare presentation specifically for low income people. They evaluate people by income and even if you happen to be low income.they will.manipulate you into thinking into buying timeshares. If your on vacation don't waste your time. Enjoy Vegas. Don't fall for the "free meals" or anything.

Love to stay at this casino! We always have one of the Sky Villas on top of the resort. With 24/7 butler service and private pool, how can you go wrong?! Just wish they had their own limos like they did back in the Las Vegas Hilton days, so much easier to get around then. Nevertheless, everyone always takes good care of me when I'm there, especially Valentino, Les, and Toby! Thanks guys!!

The area is a little dicey, but it's convenient to the convention center and most everything else. Think of it as in-between the main section of the Strip and the downtown area. On site food is pretty good, but better can be found elsewhere. Parking is okay, but you're better off to valet at night due to vagrants in the area. Monorail is convenient to go between properties.

Our room was clean and quiet, the pool was warm and crowded. The casino was more laid back than others on the strip and the Hotel has a sense of nostalgia with the history it has. The buffet was delicious and affordable compared to others, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The only downside were the guest services employees who would shake you down with trying to buy a timeshare there or at other resorts every time you were walking near them. But overall, staying here made our trip better after a not so good trip. If we ever go back to Vegas we will stay here, but we thought Vegas was to much for us.

Much nicer than I expected. I got a great rate through a travel site and though I always assumed the hotel was out-dated and wasn't worth my time, I gave it a chance. I'm glad I did. No, it's not Aria, but it is way cheaper. And, much nicer than other older hotels I've stayed at around here. I'll definitely come back.

Amazing, has an abundance of restaurants, wonderful pool area with view of the strip in the distance. Wonderful room, with amazing view only thing I didn’t understand that we had to pay for the water bottles that were there. I thought they were complementary but they are not. Comes with a fridge, safe, drawers and a large space closet with hangers. I love the Las Vegas Monorail, made it some conventional getting around the strip. The only cons was that we had to wait for our rooms because they weren’t clean and one of the maids took my aunts clothes because she thought it was trash and we never received it back.

Wonderful experience all around! The room was great. People were nice
Except for the 32 times we were asked if we wanted some free gifts as long as we went to a three-hour seminar for the timeshare got really old after the 12th time.
The two for one coupon for the buffet was awesome and Fran was a super sweet old broad that is totally awesome at Sid's.
Tanya was at the reception desk when we checked in. She was super great and since it was our anniversary we asked if there was any better rooms available and upgraded us & she absolutely made our entire trip SO much better! Thank u!response / report this review -

The hotel in need of some serious renovations. Beware of the timeshare sharks they are on every corner of the hotel. If you not trying to buy then look the other way! The only good thing was the comfortable bed. The room we was in the air conditioner look like the incredible hulk bent it, the TV did not work at first but they did send a repair person to fix it and some outlets did not work. The room decor is old although they said they renovated.

Seriously, the bed was the best part. Very comfortable bed, though staying out till 3am each night might have helped with that. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the Strip, but it's manageable. Nice room, cool nostalgic pictures and such.
The thermostat must have been broken. We like it cold, and the thermostat said 62°, but it was easily 75°. Also, the "staff" constantly hounds you to get a timeshare for free stuff, but that's the whole Strip.response / report this review -

Friendly personnel and everyone very accommodating. We ate at the restaurants and they were all excellent. Going to try the Edge Steak house tonight. Problem they have steak lamb and Lobster my 3 favorites Read all the reviews and they sounded great. Liked the idea of your 24 hour coffee & dessert shop. The fact that you are staying in the hotel you should have a certain amount of tip monies taken out on your hotel stay the day you checkout. Our maid service really wasn't needed unless we needed towels. We keep a clean room and feel that the extra charge is unnecessary. Will be back next year!!!

First time in Vegas.My husband and I had a great time here. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. The buffet was okay. I like that this hotel was a little off the strip and the monorail trail was right next to the hotel and runs every 6 minutes. I would come back again. In addition we were offered a $25 dollar credit each for the hotel and given a free ticket to the shark reef. We went to Benihana's for dinner with the $50 credit and enjoyed going to the shark reef at Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Stayed there for one night. Felt a little overwhelmed by staff. Every staff in the lobby kept asking us the same questions, how old were we, how long will we be here, etc. And when they didn't get the answer they were looking for they gave up and we're quickly looking for someone else. Room was nice. Stayed in the north tower 13 floor. Nice TV and great view.

A hidden gem for a cheap get-a-way. Its located at the not so glamorous end of the strip but the rooms are cheap and comfortable and large. I have stayed here for the last 10 years or so through different names and always enjoyed my stay. Has access to the monorail and the parking is safe and free. The casino has all your needs but is smokier than other casinos. Overall my go to spot if we are just looking for a cheap trip.
