Great resort. Indoor and outdoor pools. Arcade. Rooms were updated and spotless. Staff is super friendly. Easy in and out for driving. Just a short walk into downtown. Beach is smallish but very nice. Patio is rocking and great bar. Night club attached is also nice touch. Also included ais a lunch spot /sports bar. Great for fam or for couple.

Room was very clean,bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Coffee pot in the morning was appreciated. No quick breakfast stuff available to grab and go that I seen. They did have coffee in the lobby. Most places have donuts and stuff not here that I seen. The staff was helpful and friendly

Would stay again.
Older property neat and clean.
Acknowledged my Spire Elite status with upgrade and extended check out. This is good year round for spire members, not just slow months.
Nice location.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Front desk recommended good local spots within walking distance even with their own eating and drinks on site.
Walls are paper thin. Heard couple in room next door all night having a "good time".

Good location and good presentation. The hall is new and well maintained. Mattresses and pillows in the rooms have been recently replaced and are very comfortable.
Both the room and the bathroom were clean, but the bathroom furniture and fixtures are old and need some refreshing.
If you purchase the breakfast with the online reservation have it cooked for you, it is worth the wait. If you don't have time you can still enjoy the continental breakfast buffet.response / report this review -

Comfortable bed, bathroom needed some serious cleaning and updating. Great location to walk down town. Staff was very nice. Overall grounds and building need lots attention especially based on cost of the room. Service at the "day room bar" was beyond horrible. Spend your money down town to eat and drink!

Above all, the location was spectacular! Right next to the water for swimming and a short walk to be right on Front Street with all it's shops and restaurants. The room was nice and everything was clean. The staff was great, and Norm, who drove us from the airport, was the best, most informative, and likable van driver I've ever met. What a great ambassador for West Bay Beach. This was a great stay.

Located right on beautiful West Bay, the views you will experience are simply breathtaking. An outdoor bar allows you to eat and drink right on the beach. For professional events, the staff is attentive and kind. The rooms are easy to set up in most anyway you desire. My biggest issue is the entrance. Turning left in or out of the hotel is a pain. You may be better off taking a right and turning around somewhere.

One of my favorite places in TC. What I love about West Bay Beach is that you really feel like you're at a resort. The bartenders are awesome, drinks are good, the patio is always clean, and the food is always great. Great views of the bay and they have great tables with umbrellas for those extra sunny days.
Tips: get there before the music starts if you just want to enjoy the quiet water views. Very crowded during festival seasons.response / report this review -

One of the best Holiday Inns I have stayed at. Love the resort aspect and being able to enjoy the beach patio and beach on lake Michigan. Very comfortable beds. WiFi connection is spotty.

The West Bay Beach hotel has an incredibly convenient location and a pleasant interior. We stayed on the third floor and the room was cleaned well daily. All of the hotel staff have been very helpful.

I love this hotel!! Every time I come up to Traverse City I stay here. It is in the perfect location and is beautiful and very clean! I had my bachelorette party here this past weekend and my experience this time was no different. All 12 of the people in my party loved the hotel and we had so much fun dancing at the night club (DJ could have been a little better). Special shout out to our bartender Paul at the Day Club! We were lucky enough to meet him right when we got to the hotel on Friday and he was awesome! I feel like our experience would not have been so great had it not have been for him. Thank you, Paul!

Awesome location, great indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. Great view of the bay from most of the rooms. Just a 5 minute walk from downtown. Overall just a great location and truly what you expect from a resort hotel. Staff were great too. Definitely coming back in the summer when it warms up more.
