Food and venue are amazing in this old style garage that is refurbished into a bar complete with brick oven pizza. Wide variety of choices from lamb burgers to house made veggie burgers, pizzas, salads, etc all served in huge portions on metal trays. The downside is that this is an "in" place to eat. The wait can be over an hour long and parking even on a slow night isn't plentiful. Food is above average but also on the higher side price wise. If you won't mind the wait service is friendly and staff do their best to wait on everyone.

Very interesting and unique. Literally an old garage converted into a restaurant (minus any garage smell). Bring patience. Peak dining times offer long waits. Self parking isn't very convenient or plentiful. Valet available.

went there for the second time this past weekend. It was still as good as my remembered!

I went there last Friday around 6:30ish. I was told it would be an hour wait for a table for 2, and the wait was actually shorter than another. I had the 3 am burger the first time I went there. It was good; I love their sauce. This time around I wanted to try something else, so I got an veggie burger instead. It had the same sauce I believe, it was so good and filling too. Also, there mac and cheese was one of the best I had. Definitely recommend this place, worth the hype and wait

The food is amazing!! A bit pricey, but worth it every once in a while. And their beer selection is great. The smoked chicken wings and mac and cheese are so delicious! I get them every time.

The food choices were good and interesting. The decor was innovative, but the actual food was overpriced place was extremely crowded and the wait time was long. I recommend you go there once to check it out. It was not someplace that I would return, but others clearly love this place or there would not be long waits.

Excellent food! Great craft beer selection. We had to wait quite a while because of our large party. A little $$ but tasty

3 am burger was absolutely delicious, it has a perfect mix of spices and sauce, and it also get your hand dirty. Do try it and you will not forget to thank me later. Union mac as always is treat to eat. Get the side to go with burger.
Service is great and so is the ambiance. It does give you a garage feel except the greasy smell. Place is always crowded and has waiting time on all of the weekend evening of about an hour. They do not take reservations.

Loved everything about this place! My food was so amazing I think I can still taste it. Duck burger was so good and so were the onion rings. Yummy! Can't wait to go back.

Union Mac is unforgettable! Burgers are good. Pizza is good. Everything is good when you're at the garage. Lots of local ingredients. Huge beer selection. Oh, and the cocktails and adult milkshakes, are you kidding me! Oh, and the have valet parking! I mean I could go on and on, but I need to head back there order one of everything!

Visited tonight during the early days of the Woodward Cruise with coworkers from out of town. We came early to get a table and got the perfect spot to watch the cars, talk and eat. Food was great. I had the Chop Salad - real good. Great service and the perfect location.

Atmosphere is fun and exciting, especially if you're interested in cars or the Woodward Dream Cruise. There is some serious cruisin' history in this place! And the FOOD. Wow. Everything I have ordered here has been flat out delicious. I've had salmon, burgers, I've even gone vegetarian at Vinsetta Garage. It's all been superb. Staff is friendly and fun. Ya gotta go!

I can't believe it took me so long to see what all the hype was about! What a GREAT place - great food, great atmosphere, and perfectly located on Woodward. We had a short wait that was well worth it. The staff is attentive and friendly, the food is wonderful. My ONLY complaint is that it was a little crowded with noisy children on a Sunday afternoon - but that's totally understandable. We'll DEFINITELY be going back and will bring out of town friends and family in the future!

This place is really cool because of the decor and atmosphere it provides. Excellent beer choices, and the food is delicious. Wait staff and bartenders are mostly attentive. Only problem is that they tell you there is a 30 minute wait with awaiting empty tables and it takes only 5. If you don't know how to be somewhat accurate on your wait times, you might want to figure it out accurately. People ahead of us were leaving all pissed off because of the stated wait times with empty tables. We decided to wait and it paid off.

Fun casual restaurant in an old car garage. Huge pasta bowls, Mac and cheese, burgers and wood fired pizza made up the majority of their menu. Everything we good was good--several pasta bowls, cheese curds, burger and Caesar salad. Way too much of everything and everything was very cheesy and rich. Fabulous craft beer selection. Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about the obscure beers on tap. Impressive. I'd go back. This is not fine dining but perfect for a night out with friends.
