Christian is top notch. I took my wife there and he came out and made her a special dish not on the menu. You can tell his passion for his craft and we've never had a bad meal here. I look forward to trying out his other restaurants. The bell pepper soup is TO DIE FOR. Keep up the great work, Christian. You have our support.

Food was excellent, service was attentive polite and patient. All courses were served in good time and everything was cooked to perfection. Not to mention a classy yet laid back atmosphere. We were laughing out of pure joy (and montepulciano abruzzo) by the end. Fantastic food and memorable night out.

It was decent Italian food. For the price we paid, I think it could have been better. Aside from that, it has a cool location at fountain square and the wait staff did an excellent job!

Me and bae had a $50 gift card, so obviously we got half the menu God lord We felt like The King and The Queen (capitalized on purpose) of the land. That's how good it was. Little pricey, but in the end well worth it. Great location, great service, and ultimately great food.

I wish I could leave two totally separate reviews. For the kitchen I would give 5 stars, for the staff 1 star. The food was fantastic, my husband and I had the gnocchi to start and then the lamb shank and steak, all cooked perfectly. On the other hand, our waiter Ian was the strangest / rudest waiter I've ever met. He was brusque with us but to the table next to us he bragged that "all my tables love me" and that he is "often mistaken for Ed Sheeran". At the end of the night he threw the bill and pen on the table and said "thanks for coming in" and walked off. But about halfway through our meal, the hostess sat someone behind us that was clearly homeless (we had seen smoking outside the restaurant for the last thirty minutes). While they gave him bread and waited to take his order (of course he never ordered) he kept yelling at us at our table that he had been robbed and needed money. I've got to admit I've never had this happen inside a restaurant such as this. Even when the waiter interrupted him from talking with us, he still stayed until we finished and kept trying to ask us for money. Of course I think he should have been treated with compassion and the staff could have given him something to eat at the bar and offered to call the police if he had really been robbed, though I doubt he had. Overall - great food, horrible staff.

I'll give it two stars because the service was good. I had the Cioppino which, as I know it, is a chunky fish soup (whole clams, shrimp, chunks of fish, etc) with a light tomato based broth. This was a bunch of fish pulverized to a thick sauce and served in a bowl with a slightly burnt piece of bread. I thought they had given me the wrong thing. I also had the carpaccio. It looked pretty but was pretty much tasteless. Sorry, I know a lot of people like this place but I just don't see it. It was my third time (I want to like it) but this will be my last.

Delicious food! We had a party and reserved the upstairs room. Staff was incredibly professional and attentive. I always had a drink in hand! The chef is very friendly and you can tell he takes great pride in everything he does. Definitely upscale Italian! Highly recommend!

Great service- but serious shortcomings in the experience. Brought the wife here for a date because of the nice location right on the Fountain Square. Made a reservation to sit outside on the covered patio on a beautiful night- but they sat us right by an huge fan heater which ran on and off and was noisy. The bruschetta had a burnt black crust- but still palatable because we were so hungry. The real disappointment was the glasses of wine they brought- can you say "tiny pour". It was probably no more than an ounce. Extremely overpriced glass of wine. Otherwise our food was delicious, but do not expect volumes of food- these are petite portions that are strongly flavored. In all, you are paying for the location on the square.

Stayed here for a one night work trip. Appreciated the little business center where I could quickly print a few documents I needed. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing rustic rooms. Probably my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at!

My boyfriend and I went here for lunch, and neither of us was really impressed. We were seated promptly, and the staff was very courteous. But the food was fairly obviously made from a box (you're not going to try and convince my penne couldn't have had a life as a kindergarten craft), and simply put could have been prepared by a ten year who could boil water. Not worth the $15/plate.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we went down for the tree lighting this year. They were able to find us a table within 15 minutes. Very nice service. My husband had the swordfish and I had the veal. My husband enjoyed the fish. The sauce on the veal was very good but it was oversauced. Cooked perfectly but the flavors in the sauce overpowered the dish instead of enhance it. Overall, we will be going again.
