I really like the new renovations! Love the look of the hard wood floors and definitely understand the functionality, but the room echoed a lot without carpet. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Kingsport!

The room was serviceable but showed signs of age. I didn't do anything other than sleep and depart. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were fine. It was a cheap night on a long drive and I would stay again.

For the price, one shouldn't expect The Ritz. The staff was friendly and the room was adequate for a simple overnight stay during a multi-day trip.

The room was somewhat worn; but, again, it functioned for a simple overnight stay.

I would use this Motel 6 again.

clean recently remodeled room, at this time there was a major renovation taking place at the motel, all rooms were being redone. Some noise during the day but nights were fine.
The room I stayed in, 209, had a very hard to use tub/shower flip valve. The pull-up-lever on the tub faucet needs to be fixed or replaced.

I accepted a "smoking" room and next time I'll choose "non-smoking". I guess I'm not used to the smell anymore, but it was so strong an odor that I bought some Febreze to freshen up the air in the room! Also, the microwave in Rm. 205 had a malfunctioning turntable which ended up burning parts of what I cooked and the refrigerator semi-froze my fruit. Aside from those little troubles, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. I appreciate the use of the front office computer and the morning coffee was good. I like the proximity of restaurants, a supermarket, and gas stations!

In room 112, the headboard was not secured to the wall properly. I noticed this because it was being supported by the plug from the lamp that was not functioning properly. The plug was partially dislodged. I put the headboard back on the piece of wood that was secured to the wall, then pushed the mattress up against the headboard to hold it in place. Also, when I tried to iron a shirt, the iron did not seem to heat up properly. The ironing board was pretty flimsy & was lacking a pad under the cover.
Both rooms were musky as if there were a mildew problem. My sinuses got stuffed up immediately.

The other time I stayed at this motel in room, 112, the lamp with two bulbs was not working properly. Only one light would come on of the two.

I guess since it was Motel 6 I should not expect much. They pretty much just " leave the light on" for you. No little samples of shampoo, no coffee pot or any extras. It used to be a Holiday Inn Express and it was great. I should learn not to expect much from Motel 6. I will say shower was good but they probably still had Holiday Inn Express shower heads.

I had to make a quick pit stop for the night on my way back from a long drive from Texas back to Maryland.
I decided to try this Motel 6 and I based my decision off of reviews from other guests who has recently stayed here. The price was right.

The hotel room was clean, I'm assuming recently renovated and painted. Loved that it was more modern with platform beds, hardwood floors and a big 42" TV on the wall! The pillows were quite comfy and it was nice that it had both a microwave and nice mini fridge. We were able to keep our pizza in there overnight. No wasted food. WOOT!!
Go MOTEL 6.
It was also easy to locate off of the highway. Just a half mile off of the exit. Very convenient.

I will certainly return on my next ROAD TRIP back from TEXAS.

I have stayed here before and once again have no complaint. Love that you get microwave and refrigerator in room, comfy bed and it is quiet. Did NOT see any of the questionable activity that is sometimes obvious at lower price hotels. Very friendly staff and really good Mexican restaurant 2 doors down

The location was in New Orleans. The building itself was unique to the city. Rooms were decently clean and nice for the location the hotel was at. The only issue I had was the water pressure in the shower. It was almost non existent. Overall though, good experience.

BEWARE OF A THIEF!!! It actually doesn't have a fitness center anymore and there is no breakfast. They only serve coffee and tea. My dad also saw the housekeeping rushed to go far from us after cleaning the room beside us when we went back to our room. He instantly ran to our room to check what is missing and he was relieved when he saw his laptop. We thought nobody went in but we saw the towels were changed. We really thought the morning scene is just nothing until I found out in the afternoon that my Nike shoes is missing.

Be sure and tell your housekeeping staff that I just love having my pain medication stolen! The place is a dump. should have stayed in a dumpster and both saved the money and had more quality service.
