Went for Christmas dinner with friends. Have been here several times before. Ordered the Zip Chicken. Totally different than it used to be, and not in a good way. I actual sent it back because it no longer has the zip sauce but a rosemary gravy that was awful. The twisted mac & cheese is also different. Not horrible but no where near as good as it used to be. This was our go-to place for a great dinner. Not any more. Very dissappointed in the food changes!

I had never heard of this place before, but we took a large group in on a very busy Sunday. Not only did they rise to the occasion but they seemed to thrive on the challenge. I had never eaten lobster bisque before and it was wonderful. I think the mac and cheese might have been the best I ever had also.

Solid option for a local non chain restaurant. Great burgers and especially good chicken tenders (ask for more than one dipping sauce). Two Happy hours that cover drinks and appetizers. Definitely recommend.

Everything is sourced from Michigan which makes this a go to spot. The menu is typical American style but that shouldn't turn you away. They have great appetizers and the spicy chicken sandwich is amazing. Highly recommend if you're trying to avoid downtown GR and still get a great meal.

We had a party of 20 that dined at Twisted Rooster tonight. Tyler our waiter was amazing! He got our drink orders to us promptly, appetizers and dinners came to us in a timely manner and hot, and was on his “A” game all evening. Food was great and service was fantastic! Tyler, well done! We appreciate your attention to details, serving us great food and making our night great! We will be back!

My husband and I just ate here for the first time. We drive by frequently and the name always caught out attention. We're glad we did! The food was excellent (he had a sandwich, I had a burger -- we both had delicious fries!). We each had a tall beer and were happy with the selection. We interacted with maybe 4 different employees and each one was helpful and friendly - more so than your "standard" restaurant employee would be. The prices and portions were reasonable and we'll definitely be back.

Ate here for the first time on an early Saturday afternoon. The restaurant wasn’t packed so we were seated right away. The hostess and waitress were really nice and so was the manager who introduced himself upon our arrival. The waitress took the time to explain a bit about the restaurant and their pride in supporting local businesses which I thought was a plus. The food was amazing. I had fish tacos with avocado per our waitresses recommendation. Yum! There are television sets located throughout the restaurant and there is outdoor seating as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would definitely return!

Visiting from Alabama and my sister-in-law took me to the restaurant for lunch on September 12th. Nice open floor plan, good food, and good service. I had the fish tacos and they were awesome (and there was enough left over to take home)! We also had the twisted chocolate cake dessert and had enough for leftovers! Leftovers and chocolate are things the Dean family loves!!

Talked to a fellow who worked here named Izzy. He was quite the gentleman and in my opinion should be looked at to be hired as higher management. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and knows the restaurant very well. If you get him as a server/bar tender you are in luck

Stopped in for daughters birthday dinner Sat for 10 minutes. No service not even offer of drinks. So we left. Won't go back there any time soon. Went to chili's instead they were very attentive. Neither place was busy

We had the Fish Tacos and The Twisted Rooster. The server was very atentive with us and took the time to explain their concept. They try to use local (from Michigan) ingredients both in food and Cocktails. It was a great experience and it didn't break the bank.

One of our best dining experiences in recent memory. The food is delicious, creative, and original. The chef and all of the staff are warm and friendly. The restaurant is small and intimate but does not feel cramped. Although the plates are small, there are many courses and extras; we were actually stuffed when we left. An excellent value! We're already looking for an excuse to return!

Stayed here for a wedding. I was super impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the customer service from hotel employees. Requested a quite room and they accommodated my request with no issue. Had a great corner room with beautiful view. Really happy with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.
