Good atmosphere, great service. Our server didn't have much personality, but was quick and polite!

Place gets really busy and the use standard phone text system to let you know when seating is available. The waitress we had was amazing Let us take our time since my date hadn't been there before. She was super knowledgeable about all the beer types. Finally order and food was very good Had the supperclub wrap. Crack fries awesome as usual

The food is good, the service is good (especially considering they are always busy), and the beer selection is good. Crack fries are definitely a must try. Pictured: Short's soft parade. Barnyard burger & classic burger both with a side of crack fries.

Had lunch here during a trip through Grand Rapids last week. Service was great and the atmosphere is really cool. Ordered the Tilapia sandwich with "crack" fries and it was delicious. They pan fry the fish and use Doritos as the breading, the sandwich was nothing short of phenomenal. The only disappointment was that they had a brown ale with coconut on the menu that I wanted to try, however they ended up being out of it. Otherwise no complaints about my visit here whatsoever, would definitely come here again on my next visit to Grand Rapids.

FANTASTIC brewery in Grand Rapids, second only to Founders, but it has it's own awesome attributes that Founders doesn't as well. Crack fries are a must have. Love that they have a diverse selection of local and out of state craft beers, and the atmosphere is second to none.

Absolutely Amazing craft beer selection. With Grand Rapids completely filled with more breweries than one can handle in a single weekend, Hopcat is absolutely a must. I had ordered their "crack fries" without realizing how famous they truly were. The waiter had mentioned they had made it on the Food Networks list of Best Fries, coming in at #3 in the country. Before I was informed of this, I couldn't shut up about the fries with my wife. They are truly amazing.

Went here for the first time with a large group a few days ago and had a great time! A truly massive beer list matched by their excellent food! The outdoor seating was also perfect. Cannot recommend enough!

Honestly I love hopcat, but this one is the worst one when compared to AA, Detroit and Chicago. Way less beer selections. Super small bathrooms. But the building is neat and staff were nice. Wished they had more taps.

Great beer and food! I got my burger $5 off and my beer $1.50 off before 6pm! Great place to grab a bite to eat or stay a while and have a couple drinks!

Granted I've been kind of tipsy, every time I ate here But I'm still pretty sure they have the best burger I have ever tasted. The wait is forever!!! Especially during the weekend. We usually just put our name in, they'll text you when your table is ready but you have to be there within 5 minutes. One time I didn't receive a text so make sure to keep an eye on your reservation. We usually bar hop while we wait.

The location and the aesthetic of the restaurant was good. The bar was really nice and actually kind of beautiful. However the food was okay, and overpriced at that. My friend got an appetizer for 10 dollars (the same price as my grilled cheese) and the only way that thing could appetize is a raccoon. Also my grilled cheese was trying way too hard. Why would you put apples in a grilled cheese? I am not gonna come back on my own will.
