If your stay is through a vacation deal, you can expect mediocre service.
To begin, I was told by staff on the first night's stay that the resort's policy is two blankets per guest room! If you have a large group, you can forget about comfort. I called and asked for additional trash bags and was told that the resort is all out of trash bags! I said to the staff, you have guests, how can you be out of trash bags!? She told me, "technically, you are supposed to purchase your own trash bags". Really!?
To get fresh towels, I was told that housekeeping had just put some out at the pool area and I was welcomed to get them from there. No housekeeping service provided, and you are charged high fees. Stay away from this place. Not a warm or welcoming resort.
My husband booked this resort for us. We showed up to dirty carpet, dirty doors, dirty curtains, a back door that didn’t lock, no screen on a window right by the bed (on the 3rd floor) and toilets that overflowed. I left a pair of tennis shoes in the bathroom and was told that they magically weren’t there when I called 30 minutes after we left. The pool area is nice and the food was good. We will NEVER be back.
This place was awesome for large families!! We have 7 kids and the rooms were spacious the pool had zero entry it was clean and the best part was the price point. Loved it and will definitely be coming back to Tuscana when we do Orlando trips in the future.
Many families are looking for more space and amenities when traveling and it can be hard to find. Not surprisingly, there are many hotel options available in the area, but the Tuscana Resort provides all the comforts of home with spacious villas for families. Plus, they are minutes away from Walt Disney World. My family and I recently vacationed at the Tuscana Resort Orlando by Aston when visiting Disney World. With it’s prime location to the theme parks and the multiple amenities, the Tuscana Orlando is perfect for big families that want to enjoy the comforts of home. I received a complimentary stay to help facilitate my review but as always, all opinions expressed in my post are my own.
Great place to stay and very updated and clean. Apartments are spacious, and clearly have a sense of ownership to stay in. The staff are friendly / helpful, and always out cleaning the grounds to make it look nice. Close to the I4 highway makes it easy to drive to all the parks and attraction areas. Close to shopping, restaurants, and more down the street.
Tuscana has a gate that you need a code to enter with so feels very safe and as like a gated community type. Will defiantly stay here again when in Orlando.
Apartments show ownership and pride in them, with full kitchen with dishes, utensils, appliances and dishwasher. Also has washer/dryer combo set, vacuum, spacious balcony, and 2 full bathrooms (based on the 3 bedroom apartment).
Great pool area with kids pool, and restaurant/bar. Has great food (no room delivery) but nice to eat by the pool. Has great entertainment on selected nights like live music and karaoke.
Resort has a big movie theatre, and a dvd box rental machine that you can bring to the theatre and watch. Great family time where you can bring popcorn and snacks to enjoy with a private theatre that has a booked time for your self. Free wifi too is the best and very strong within all areas of the resort.
Great place, held up in hurricane. Never lost power or WiFi even though people all around us did. Pretty place and comfortable. Close to attractions even though storm kept us in.
Nice location for the Disney parks. A large supermarket and restaurants nearby are useful local amenities for these self catering apartments. The room we stayed in was of a good decorative standard, and well fitted out with kitchen appliances. More kitchen cookware would have been useful, alongside the instruction manuals for the appliances.
This resort is absolutely beautiful!!! We transferred here from another resort that we barely got through one night at because it DID NOT meet our expectations at all. Not only did Tuscana meet ALL of our expectation and more, but they also upgraded our large family of 7 to a 3 bedroom suite at no additional charge! We will definitely be coming back to this resort for our family vacations. The food at Tuscana bar is really good too. And we loved the movie theatre room that we were able to reserve just for our family. Tuscana resort literally saved our family vacation and made it comfortable for our five children, my husband and myself!
Tuscana is a very clean and beautiful resort. I spent most of my time in the pool area. The pool is spacious and clean. Around the pool you'll find several tarps for guests to leave their belongings. There's also a bar right next to the pool that serves an assortment of food choices and beverages. The service is exceptional.
Seems pretty fancy; clean, large rooms. Like a home away from home. Could definitely use blackout curtains is all.
The day before I arrived at the resort, I called and talked to one of the representative and got the final cost for check in. She told me how much the final cost would be, but upon my arrival I found that my balance was at least $300 +. the desk clerks debated with me about my balance as if I were stupid, now I am walking out the door very displeased with my treatment, knowing that I had just be treated very badly. then one of the male clerks changed my room. In making my reservation, I was told that my room would be near the pool, but after my situation I found that I not only was not near the pool, but I could not even see the pool. Now my whole weekend was ruined because of my treatment by the desk clerks. Not to mention that they said it was a non*smoking environment and everyone seem to do quite the opposite. I want my grandchildren to enjoy a clean environment, however, it was not. the funny part was that I was willing to accept the bad behavior I received and pay the extra money they charged me. I refused to be treat less than a paying customer. they did return some of my money, but that does not repair the bad weekend I had and I checked out a day early. the problem I had was that I was not sure if it was because of the color of my skin, because everything was fine when I was on the phone. Asked the manager for her boss's number and name, she refused to give me that information.
Very family oriented, great pool with zero entry and kids areas. Suites are large and spacious with all amenities. Just 2 exits south of Disney Magic Kingdom and Celebration on I4 with new restaurants, Publix grocery store, convenience, liquor, drug store and fast food at Champions Gate.
Nasty, carpet so dirty you don't even want to walk on it, towels so worn you can see through them, bugs, lights didn't work, phone doesn't work, large rodent has dug a hole under patio. Would it recommend staying here to anyone. Asked for linens three times finally had to go talk to them in person and hopefully they will show up with them. We had called twice, by cell phone because the phones don't work, and once the next day and still no linens. If there was a way to rate no stars I would have chosen that. This place only gets worse. The General manager came to our unit and saw how filthy the carpet was and offered to have it cleaned. Paul, the GM said he would have it done while we were gone at the beach and have them leave fans to assure us the floors would be dry when we got back. Well surprise surprise we got back and the floors were clean but soaking wet, no fans left at all. Called Paul and he said they would have cans brought out right away, that was over 3 hours ago and still no fans at 7:48 pm.
