Amazing experience.. Ones of the finest places I have ever stayed.. Rooms were well appointed, gym was great, location was great..
I have been staying at Trump Soho on and off since July for business travel. Everyone I have encountered at the hotel from the doorman to Rakel at the front desk have always been helpful and very accommodating. I certainly have my choices of hotels to stay but boy these folks certainly know how to make guests feel welcome!!! After a long day at work, I have had the honor and pleasure to be greeted by a true gem, Jen Delgado who is Food & Beverage Manager at Trumps new restaurant Spring and Varick. I have sat on the sidelines and sipped some fabulous wine and have watch Jen make every guest feel at home. To be honest this week I ate a late night dinner at the bar to enjoy the superb hospitality of Jen and her team.
Axel and Drew are amazing bartenders and are very cheery and friendly. If you are traveling to NYC this holiday season or anytime, I high recommend Trump Soho.
Don't know why they consider it 5 star hotel.
The view of the Hudson river is the best thing in this hotel.
Room very small and service is just average.
Amazing! Breath taking views. Incredible service. They make you feel like royalty!!! Can't wait to go there again.
Outrageously overpriced. Mediocre. Don't eat there either- practically any other hotel/restaurant in the neighborhood will have better food.
Good hotel if you get it under 300/night. NOT a 5 -stars hotel. Good views if you get SoHi room. $95 for the brekfast is ridiculous.
It’s a shame that I can’t show the pictures of my room hereHe had the worst treatment ever in this hotel, our room was not clean at all, we had to wait until 5:30 pm to get the room cleaned.
The sheets and the robes were already used, we founded a hairs on the bath tube, all the furitute had the a lot of dust, we also found a trash back of the cofre machine.
Because we reserved through Jet luxury they told us they could not give us another room. They even gave us a late check out.
So no matter if you pay 600$ a night.
Lovely property in a great location. We booked through Expedia to use Expedia points then found out that the hotel would charge us $75 for a roll away for our son. (We reserved accommodations for 3 from the start) We were offered the option to "upgrade" to a room with a sofa bed for an additional $125. We opted for the upgrade and the room was clean and comfortable. We checked out paying for the additional upgrade. Several days later, charges came through on my credit card for another $70 and an additional $216. When calling to resolve I was told I needed to contact accounting who only work 9-5 Monday through Friday. What a hassle! What could have been a 5 star stay is now a 3 at best due to the time I'll need to take to remove the erroneous charges. Poorly done, Trump Soho.
I have booked this hotel for two weeks.
Positives:
Great location. Room was nice and clean and the bathroom was pretty big.
Negatives:
Front desk (reception) staff were not polite. Every time I approached them, they would not acknowledge me, being busy with their phones/computer, unless you call them out.
My room was on the 11th floor, and pretty much had no view, as my window was blocked by another tall building. Although I had booked a long term stay, and I asked for my room to be changed, the front desk staff refused to do so.
No shower facilities at the pool, which is pretty unhygienic.
Overall, this is a good hotel, but at this price, I would take my money elsewhere.
*incoming soon: a generic response from the hotel manager*
Great hotel. Great services. Awesome staff. Loved the view out the window of my room.
The lobby is pretty but the rooms are so small for the price. I expected a better experience but the even the staff seemed so disconnected from the customers. We couldnt get a map or decent recommendations for dinner outside of the hotel.
Great hotel. Just as expected. Friendly staff and very clean. The surrounding neighborhood is nice too. My room creaked a bit, feels like a small earthquake. Like wind or the subway? But no biggie. 16th floor. I'll come again.
This hotel is simply magnificent. Comfortable, tastefully finished rooms, excellent amenities and faultless service. Probably the best hotel that I have stayed in in NYC and in a great location. Highly recommended.
We stayed in the hotel for a girls weekend and I have mixed feelings about the hotel. Customer service was excellent, all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and knowledgeable. The lobby did not meet my expectations, it was very dark and the decor not as elegant as I was expecting. Inside the hotel room, I was not wowed. The view was so-so and the room itself was a bit dated and showed some wear. That being said, the room was large especially by NY standards and the bathroom was lovely except there was a plumbing issue with our shower, the water was draining very slowly so you had to shut off the shower periodically to avoid flooding the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had no issues with noise. Inside the hotel felt very safe but my friend smokes and there was no place outside that felt secure for her to go. They also placed a $150 hold on my card just in case we purchased anything from the hotel which I found ridiculous and inconvenient. I am certainly not going to eat anything off the mini bar tray such as the $75 Trump chocolate bar! Overall, I felt this hotel over promised and underdelivered for the price point and we will not be staying again.
Phenomanl view. Exceptional food and staff service standard. Quality suite. Convenient location. Modern atmosphere. Trump hotel collection's basic satisfaction.
