The hotel's location was right by everything. It was so easy to get around. We stayed in a single bedroom, and it was clean and comfortable. They have a snack bar/coffee&tea bar in the lobby that was nice.
We drove up to new york for the day. Parked in the garage related to the hotel, no in and out access and have to leave your key so they can move it around but great price with validation from hotel. Staff was great, left bags with the hotel in the morning and they were delivered to the room shortly after check-in. There was a nice sitting area with free coffee and a happy hour from 4-8. The room was small but functional, there was a filtered water dispenser outside the elevator and a keurig machine with green mountain coffee in the room, everything seemed clean. Small annoyances were the water temperature in the shower fluctuated, the elevators were small and slow, on a few occasions they were full and stopped at a few floors where people were waiting. No reason I wouldn't stay again.
Great location, great staff, Joanne at the front desk was especially helpful! They held our bags for us when we arrived early in the mornings so we could explore the city! So thankful for them and this stay, you guys are rockstars
I wouldn't recommend room 803. Any and all street noise comes in through the window AC and heat unit. It's insane. The hotel was clean and the room is small but well appointed. The noise from the Garbage trucks woke me up at 2 am and I didn't get back to sleep until 4. This place would do well to update the heat and AC and move it from the window to the wall which would go along way to abate the ever present noiseI had an important meeting and I needed sleep. I can't recommend this hotel
I have stayed at Club Quarter in London and at this Location in NYC three times. This NYC location has slowly gotten worse of the past year, Now, it's 1:44 am I'm on the 3rd fool and there are workmen outside my window one floor down tearing down scaffolding in the middle of night. Now, if this work was being done the hotel staff had no reason booking anyone in this or any other room that faces that street tonight. I fee like I have been screwed over and taken advantage of by the staff by placing me next to a constitution zone for a good nights sleep which I paid very good money for. Well I'm done with your company and I will never stay at one of your hotels again. You screw me over for the last time.
Checked in at the console.0 human interaction. Got to the room. Very old. Chipped edges on all furniture. Moldy bathroom. Shower felt like an old army barracks. Rough towels. Still not the worst hotel I've stayed at in NY, but not good.
Knocking a star off the review due to poor room service. We tried to call down for some breakfast but no one answered, then when calling the lobby were told "not sure what's going on with the restaurant you'll need to come down and place the order" - that's basically no room service to me.
Lovely rooms with good space (considering Manhatten can often have rather small rooms). Everything was clean and staff very helpful. It's a superb location too so very happy for the price we paid.
I had a really good experience at this hotel. Conveniently located near a lot of great tourist attractions. 2 nice inexpensive restaurants across the street with great food. If I'm every in Manhattan again, I would definitely book this hotel.
I rarely complain about hotels, but I stayed in a nicer hotel in a third world country compared to this hotel.
- We never had working key cards to our room. They have a new computer
system for the doors and could not get ours working. We were locked out
twice and maintenance had to let us back in.
- There was a dirty wet towel in the bottom of one of the beds. This was
one of the worst parts. They had to come up and change all the linens
because it was soaked through.
- The bathroom sink had a terrible odor coming (FISH) from the drain. It was so
powerful that we had to brush our teeth in the room and then rush in to
rinse. It made both of us gag.
- The original express deal stated a queen bed. We ended up with 2
twins.
- We asked to move rooms, but they stated the hotel was sold out.
Incredible deal, free espresso, snacks, water bottles to take on your excursions around the city. Very clean, super comfortable beds, and professional staff.
This is a great little hotel in the heart of Midtown. Very accessible to theatres and shopping, and is good if it's your first time in the city because it's near Times Square, Central Park and subway lines. The room was small but very functional and the bed was comfortable. Daily room service was good. Parking nearby was extremely affordable (especially given the location). I would recommend staying here.
The place shows its age. Dark and rustic feel. The parking garage they sent me to was AWFUL. Worst parking experience I've ever had. The attendant jumped in my car and drove off with it without even asking if I had everything I needed. (I didn't.) And don't lose your ticket!
It looks really nice in the dining area which gets lost in the rooms. It's quite small and has a modest interior. The staff is very friendly and you are living right in the middle of midtown, which is nice!
