One of my favorite places to hike, expect two till three days to see everything. There are family areas, but if your an avoid hiker, the trails are intermediate. The views are great, it's easy to get to. Oh don't forget a camera.

Great state park for getting away for some peace and quiet. Camping , lots of hiking trails some with some beautiful views.

Cool little park has a forgotten cemetary way up in the woods on one of the trails .There is a waterfall but haven't seen much water on it last two times I was there I'd recommend good walking shoes for the trails .

Very rustic and off the beat & path, yet not far from Lake Raystown and other activities. It lost a star for having brown "iron rich" tap water. Plan on unplugging if you go there as you have zero bars on your cell phone.

Such a beautiful state park. Zero cell reception but that was ok with me. If you can I'd suggest renting the cabin for the whole family, it's huge!

Great place to hike. There is spotty cell phone service. So put the phone away and enjoy the beautiful hiking trails.

A beautiful park with great trails and scenic areas. There are real restrooms here, that are kept pretty clean. Trails are not tooo challenging for the young or old. Same goes for pets, as I brough my three dogs. One is a larger 14 year old with hind leg issues and the smallest beng a young jack-chi. They both were avle to traverse the terrain witu no issues

Beautiful place for hikers. Terrain is a bit rocky but it is beautiful! Great hike for a cool fall day!

It is pretty impressive how many cool little spots are in this park, considering its size. There are ruins of an old iron furnace, a CCC camp, historic cemetery from the 1800's, Copperas Rock, Balanced Rock, Raven Rock, the Ice Mine, old schoolhouse ruins, overlooks, picnicking, camping and hiking trails. The campground is less than 30 sites in size and mostly shaded with a few more open sky sites. There are vault toilets, but no showers It appears all the sites have electric hookups.
