I've been here for a few different events and have always enjoyed the facility. Great sized, and different sized rooms, clean, nice big bathrooms, and always comfortable.

Imlers Food Expo had a Banquet for all who attended and food was excellent and staff was super.

The only thing this place has is a good atmosphere and clean bathrooms.The food is disgusting and it's too overpriced. They treat their employees with disrespect and are always going through help. If you look behind the doors where the kitchen area is it looks very unclean and their employees don't wear gloves. The food is handled by several people before you eat it and I've seen them stand outside and smoke. Spend your money on a business who takes care of their employees instead of treating them so inhumanly and has better sanitary standards. When you sit at a table think about the person who handles your drinking glass - the person or persons who handle your salad - how many people handled my silverware - then your entrée and desert. The food you eat sits in bins just outside the dining area sometimes uncovered. Just something to think about before you spend a lot of money at such an establishment.

Not a bad convention center for the area. I love how there was free parking, and the food was better than convention center food in big cities.

Can get very hot & stuffy so dress accordingly. Staff can be difficult to find (look for those involved with the event rather than convention center staff). Parking or drop-offs can be confusing so confirm where you should be, upper (entrance) level or lower level. Parking can be difficult to find for busy events. Traffic leading to center flows well.

This spring I helped my client host their 'Winter Social Event' here at Blair County Convention Center. I worked directly with Carol Reiger, the Director. All I can say is that everything was amazing - the food, the service, the pre show communication and Carol repeatedly went the extra mile for the client. Kudos to Carol - 5 stars, well earned.

It's a great big open area if you would want to hold a convention. But if you are going to see something there there is a lot of room to move around in and most of the stuff there is fun.

Very large convention center, hosted a weekend seminar for my organization. Multiple rooms that accommodated hundreds of participants. Rooms could benefit from having power outlets in the floor throughout the room.
