Room was dirty. Looks like it was never dusted, dust an inch thick on the headbroad of the bed. The walls look like they have never been wiped down. Dirt and grim visible on them. The floors are gross. They are so dirty that you can't walk around barefooted or your feet are black on the bottom. Actually ruined two paired of white socks walking in the room on the carpet. The mirrors in the rooms are cool but also look like it's been awhile since they were clean like everything else. And better hope to God there's no bedbugs in these rooms because if I get bedbugs here I'm turning this place into the better business bureau and exposing this place to the public through media.

I was looking for an inexpensive, but clean room for one night. The room smelled clean. I think the carpet was scrubbed the day I checked in, which was nice. The owner/manager, I'm not sure which, was very friendly and accommodating. I blew a breaker in my room, which he fixed immediately. He even allowed me to check out later than their normal time, which he definitely did not have to do, and I greatly appreciated that. Sheetz is right across the street, which was nice. The motel is situated nicely, and felt safe and private, which made me feel better about traveling alone. I would definitely stay here again.

I was surprised that they are not aware of the plumbing problems. The 1st room, the sink leeks. The second one leeks also. We couldn't sleep after driving 12 hours. I would not recommend this place until it passes the city inspection. I give it 0 stars.

Indeed you get what you pay for. However we payed for a week and didn't even stay the full term. After three days it took my fiancé going to the front desk to get any kind of cleaning service. We showed pictures to them of soap scum all over the shower. red slime on the shower curtain. The toilet kept getting cloged and something was wrong with the back. our room had NO heat. And we had to go buy a heater. If your desperate this is your place. But if you care about your health and expect service don't stay here.

If you want a cheap place for the weekend in Altoona, this is your place, It's no Hilton, it's not even Motel 6, but you will get what you pay for, very inexpensive lodging . For the most part the place was clean and it looks like they've made some improvements, and upgrades. I read a disconcerting review about outdated bathrooms and dirty carpets, and bedbugs. As far as the bedbugs I believe they took care of that problem. Also the outdated tubs, we're replaced by showers with a place to sit on either side of the shower. They still have a ways to go though, like, the lid to the toilet seat, new carpeting, no hooks in the bathroom to hang your towels, and to clean and sanitize the shower curtains, we found mildew growing on the shower curtains. Also changing some of there cleaning practices, we saw one of there cleaning ladies place the clean bedding she was preparing to put on the bed, on the ground outside the office. If they would correct these few little things the place wouldn't be half bad place to stay. I hope the owner sees this review.

Reasonable priced. You get what you pay for. It's a nice cozy room with shower.Perfect for our needs. If you want all the perks of the Hilton than you should check into a Hilton.
We would like to thank them for helping us have a great weekend without being over priced for a place to stay

Should it be a 3 star rating? You might not think so after you read this, but you'll understand why I did it.
Myself and some family needed a place to stay for two nights in the middle August 2016. I didn't make the reservations, so I can't talk about that aspect of it, but I will help with the rest. We wanted an affordable place. I was surprised to hear that it was only $75 a night for a three bed room. With that price comes with a reason why so cheap.
I'll make it fast and easy for yous.
>No small items, like soap or shampoo.
>Beds have Bed Bug covers on them.
>Loud, Loud AC Units.
>Circuit breakers blow when you use an Iron and it takes them a half hour to simply hit the breaker.
>Drunk Iron workers being rowdy.
>Drugs being sold in two different rooms throughout the night.
>I think, prostitution takes place there. Pretty sure it does.
>TV was super quiet and bad picture with glitches.
>Feet get dirty just from the carpeting.
>Shower floors are brown.
>No hand drying towel.
>No towel bar.
>No clothes hangers
>Bed was broken, held with duct tape. lol

>Rooms are Cheap Cheap get what you pay for, I guesssss?
>AC works strong

So it gets a 3 star because they're cheap rooms and that's what we were looking for. It worked out just fine.
