Beautiful, well-maintained state park. There are many hiking trails, beautiful scenery, boat rentals, swimming area and beach and fantastic ranger led programs to choose from.

Canoe Creek is great State Park with lots of things to do! Public swimming area, sandy beach, lots of picnic tables and standing grills at most tables, concession stand, first aid hut, public restooms, small playground, fishing areas, kayak/canoe/paddle boat rentals, trails for hiking, cabin rentals within the park, so much wildlife to see and much much more!! Every trip here turns out to be a wonderful day! I certainly recommend visiting here with your family, by yourself, and even for a date. I cant say enough about the park! I love it here!

Good quick place to take the kids. Snack bar needs to be open more. Bring own drinks price in vending machine way to much for soda.

This park has so much to offer for a small state park. There is great fishing and boating. Boating is limited to electric motor but you really don't need more than that. There are great hiking trails, and if you hunt there are areas open for that as well. The pavilions are simple but clean and the beach area is gently sloped and easy for children. The beach area is also equipped with a handicap accesable lift so all can enjoy the water.

A well groomed picnic, sports, fishing and swimming area. A concession stand for snacks. A large bathroom with showers. Miles of hiking and horseback riding trails. An education center. Multiple boat launches.

I've lived in the area for all my life and I've never been there until now. They've got a good variety of trails for hiking that are clearly marked for beginners up to experts.

Nice family place to have a picnic. Lots to see and do nice beach area plus fishing, boating, hiking and a visitors center plus log cabin rentals.

Great local State Park with a naturalist that really knows her stuff. Trails for hiking, a lake for kayaking, a beach for swimming, cabins for sleeping, fish for catching, all that is required to make for a simple/happy time. GO to this place and be happy! Be there now
