Great place to stay just a short stroll to the beautiful beach. Very clean rooms and nice outdoor areas with barbecues. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with a full kitchen and had everything we needed to cook ourselves as it was well stocked with cookware.
The grounds were very nice with 2 pools and it was beautiful with the Christmas lights after dark.
There was complimentary coffee, bottled water, lemonade, cookies and candy in the reception. Beach chairs and towels are also available at no cost.
There are many restaurants and even a small grocery store within walking distance.
The staff were very friendly and when we had a problem with a low battery in a smoke detector it was fixed within a few minutes.
We will definitely return.

What a wonderful retro Old Florida resort! The staff and management were very friendly and
professional, our room was recently remodeled and sparkling clean with all the amenities and
just a 5 minute walk to Siesta Key beach, restaurants & shopping! We will be back for a return stay and highly recommend Tropical Beach Resorts!

My wife and I spent a few days at Tropical Beach Resort for our anniversary. Room was newly remodeled and spotless. Front desk staff was awesome, and all amenities were awesome. Pool area was also very nice. Very short walk to one of the nicest beaches I have been to! I would HIGHLY recommend this resort hotel to anyone. We will definitely be back!

Great Hotel on the water! Very friendly staff, Comfortable beds and very clean inside. Don't forget to try Dry Dock Waterfront Grill, they have great food! As a Google local guide I definitely recommend Tropical beach resort.

What a great find! Sure, the rooms are compact, but for us they provided a very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. It was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and management made every effort to insure that our stay was pleasant and fun. The beautiful white sand and warm water beaches of Siesta Key were literally a 5-minute walk from our room (and for those who prefer it, a pool was also on the premises). This was our first stay at this resort, but it won't be our last!!

Found this paradise by luck. It is absolutely wonderful. Quiet, off the main tourist traffic area. Your own piece of old Florida. Rooms are clean with full kitchen, great for overnight or a week long stay. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.. P.S. The staff are great. Good job to all. Thank you.

The location is on the beach, the ocean is just a few steps outside your door. If you stay here you won't need a car because everything on Siesta Key is within walking distance. This place is perfect for people staying longer than a few days since a kitchenette and dishware is included. The rooms are spacious and elegant. The bed was super comfortable.

We had a nice stay here. Besides the conveniences such as being close to the private beach, the our double bed studio also included the sofa bed. Kitchen had almost everything we needed. The room was very clean and nice. Staff were very nice and friendly. My only complaint is that main street connecting between the main road to the beach was filled with large still water spots which caused my wife to fall when walking from the parking to the beach.

We had an amazing stay here. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.The amenities were great and we loved that the beach was just a 2 minute walk from our room! We will definitely be staying again!

Great place! Siesta key is lovely, and this hotel was perfect for our family. The rooms were nicely updated and had plenty of space. We had a nice dinner on the grill outside, and everything was walkable - pools, beautiful white sand beach, restaurants, grocery. Great service and a really nice staff. Thanks for a terrific vacation!

Our stay this year was outstanding as always! We have been coming to this resort for almost 10 years and consider room 125 our home when we visit Florida. We wouldn't stay anywhere else! Our girls look forward to this trip so much! We love the pool, and the private beach is the best in the state. Great hotel staff from the office girls to the housekeepers. So friendly. We love Tropical Shores!!!

We had a wonderful time. The staff is so very accommodating. All your needs and wants are supplied(lawn chairs, coffee/tea, lemonade, cookies, candy, bottled water, beach towels-they have thought of everything!) The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with all the dishes and utensils that you might need. We used the gas grill for dinner. The microwave, stove and dishwasher, along with the nice size refrigerator were so convenient! The maid service here is exceptional. We always had ample clean towels and she swept out the sand daily! We absolutely love Tropical Shores Resort. The location is perfect for us with Captain Curt's seafood restaurant in walking distance as well as ice cream and a good pizza place and a nice grocery store. We didn't need to get into the bumper to bumper traffic to get our needs met.

It reminded me of an old fashioned motel, but Our room was very clean and up to date. Kitchenette was great. I love plants, and The landscaping was beautiful; full of trees and flowers. Great location, within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The Gulf was perfect,with white sand, and just a short walk away.
