Location is good. Check-in service is easy.
Rather old looking inside but clean. WiFi not always working. Downfall for me is that walls are paper thin and could hear steps from above floors loudly - on the verve of being unbearable. For the price compared to other availability it's a good place.response / report this review -

Excellent value and good location. Room was extremely well kept and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. 10 minute drive from the Santa Monica Pier and good eats nearby. Free breakfast was fresh and delicious but no bacon :(

Is an older Travelodge and is maintained nicely. The staff is AMAZING. They are super friendly and professional. Stayed there for 3 nights and would stay there everytime I come to Santa Monica!

I was on a budget and I booked this reservation online for 2 nights. I was very happy with my room with a small kitchenette ---it had plates, cups, and silverware. The overall room was clean and the service was very good. Everyone at the front desk were accommodating and friendly.

Super friendly staff. Moderately priced and the rooms were pleasant. Great location for my needs. Not the Ritz, but if you've got a budget it was very nice.

My wife and I got a "king bed with jacuzzi" room in mid-September to spend a week in Santa Monica. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and did a great job. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked fine. Couldn't hear any noise outside or above us. The room was nearly spotless. Only complaint is that we couldn't access the Wifi from our room for the first couple days, then it worked fine (maybe an extender was down?) Bus stop (take bus 7 to the beach in minutes!), Trader Joe's and a 99 cent store are located close by. We'd recommend this place to others!

Everything was good. Free breakfast was included and enjoyed. Good WiFi. Bathroom was a bit damp, but clean. Convenient included parking. Good location for the price point.

Nice and clean, helpful staff but hardly slept last night and can tell tonight is going to be the same. Paid almost $200 a night, might be OK for LA. In room 419. Sounds like the people upstairs are in a mental asylum walking too and fro over and over, every step seems amplified and the boards squeak. Managed to keep me awake throughout the night even though I hadn't slept for over 24 hours after flying from the UK. Hotel is pretty far from the beach. Over an hours walk although you can get the bus or drive and park from $12. Breakfast is OK, choice of bagels, toast and pancakes. Free parking at the hotel, next door to trader Joe's which is great 👍👍

The room we stayed in was very nice. Nice and quiet. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed my stay at the Travelodge in Santa Monica, I would recommend it to my friends.

Main room was small and very hot upon arrival. Took almost an hour to cool it down. Nice kitchen eating area. Channel up and down buttons were worn off of the TV remote and did not work. Very clean room and nice courtyard though.

Decent room, plenty of space with two fairly comfortable queen beds. The bathroom was weird since the sink was outside in the main room right next to one of the beds. The guy at the front counter was lovely and friendly even though we were checking in very late at night. Would stay again if i was in the area.
