I’m still sitting in and I had to write my review. We walked into the restaurant without having made any reservation and were seated immediately. Our waiter was this classical Italian type of guy who was very attentive and provided and excellent service. The food was spectacular and the prices are good. Will recommend with my eyes closed!!!

Overall it was a good experience. When you walk in you sort of walk past the crowd of people to go over to check in. That was not obvious to us at all, and stood by the front door for a little while. It’s extremely hectic feeling the entire time there so if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful dinner, maybe a Saturday night isn’t the best choice. But anyway, we had a reservation and once we waited in the line to check in, we were seated right away.

We thought our service was pretty good but i did hear another table complain about how slow theirs were.

I ordered the pesto ravioli and the filling was amazinggg. Not sure if they were worth paying $30 for though but the location was nice. We were so close to the table beside us I felt like we were dining together but its seemed to be that way with many I’ve been here.

AMAZING PLACE!!!! That is what I can say..nothing more! I go to restaurants almost every week but rarely I get such an amazing and highly professional Dining Room service like here I got!!! At many restaurants Waiters do not even know how to serve a bottle of wine, difference between Steak-medium rare vs. medium vs.medium well but this restaurant knows what the Hospitality is!!! The food presentation is very impressive very delicious the fish was! I got an excellent white wine recommendation from my Waiter. He was very polite, patient and professional. Ladies and Gentleman: DO NOT MISS this place if You are in New York!!!

Had dinner here last night wait service was the HORRENDOUS. We saw head waiter twice to take our order and bring check that’s it. It was an early dinner so we were one of two or three tables being served. Had to ask for napkins and utensils. Then we had to ask for bread no butter or oil given. We had to track down the server he brought 2 pats of butter for a table of six REALLY? Waiter was MIA to our table but more attentive to a larger table next to us I guess he expected a better tip because it’s already added to bill for a large group. One star for being seated right away with reservations. Never again!

I had a lovely dinner here tonight with my mother. The service was perfect. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We ate the seafood risotto and the scallops and the chocolate covered ice cream. Johnnie was the perfect waiter. Thank you for the wonderful evening! Highly recommend. We will visit again!

Having an Italian background, I'm very particular about dining Italian but I have to say this was the best food I've had just like an Italian would cook at home.
Highly recommend the place. Christian the matre'd is a fantastic host.

Absolutely fantastic place. Food is delectable, staff is incredibly friendly, and the location is perfect. If Brandon is around, he's always ready to greet you with a big smile and a handshake. Can't wait to visit again!

What a fabulous restaurant! Friends and family took me there on Friday night for my birthday. The management and staff went over and above to add to the celebration. We were treated like family and never felt rushed. In fact, we were encouraged to linger and the staff was actually entertaining. Each of us had amazing dinners and shared pizzas with super crispy thin crusts as an appetizer. Substitutions were not a problem and nice selection of wine. Being a group of ten women, we were a little noisy but the vibe in the restaurant was very upbeat. The restaurant is also large enough to accomodate those who want more privacy. There is also a bar area with tables for those who just want pizza or smaller choices. Overall, great experience.

FANTASTIC PLACE!!!!!!! I can't say enough great things about this place. We went in on a Friday evening without a reservation and they were more than willing to accommodate us. We went here from the suggestion of a sales rep at Tiffany's. The staff is so very friendly from the serving staff all the way up to management. They have a way of making you feel like you're eating a meal from home. We had so much food and it was all very delicious. This is a must have. We will be back.

Great food, and even better service. We were seated in the wine room where it was nice and quiet. I am GF and they fixed a unique pesto dish to accommodate my dietary needs. Really appreciated the personal attention. Wine choice and dessert recommendations for the table were both excellent, too! And got us out in plenty of time for our event at Carnegie Hall.

This has now become one of my favorite places to eat Italian food in NYC! From the moment we entered, we were greeted by the host; he was energetic, excited, kind, attentive and was a great welcome to the restaurant. We were immediately seated (we made a reservation as it was a Friday night and we were seeing a musical right after dinner). The atmosphere was inviting, warm, peaceful, romantic and the ambiance was a perfect accompaniment to an intimate dinner. Every person of the wait staff was professional, attentive, constantly refilling our drinks and really cared about our experiencethe service was impeccable! The aromas of the food being freshly cooked and prepared was a delectable scent all evening. Our food was phenomenal; it was fresh, authentic, incredibly tasty and we didn't want to leave a bite left because it was THAT amazing! I would rate it higher than 5 stars if it was at all possible! I'm very picky with regards to Italian food and I was beyond impressed! Can't wait to eat there again!

Went early on a weeknight with a reservation for two. We were seated quickly and the staff was attentive for the most part (we ordered and received our meal quickly, but waited 20+ minutes after plates were cleared to get a check).

Ordered the pesto ravioli and a seafood pasta dish with wine. Seafood pasta had maybe 4 pieces of shrimp or salmon and was not great per my friend. Ravioli was made in house and decent. Portion sizes were smaller than other establishments, which was fine since we were traveling.

Would have done 2.5 stars if possible.

It is not worth the money for the food we received. The next day we went to an Italian restaurant down the street- ordered an appetizer, two entrees, a dessert, and wine and spent $30 less than what we did here- and the food (and atmosphere) was better.

One kind definitely find a superior place than this.

Pros: quick seating, generally attentive staff, nice decor (but see con)
Con: cost, better food elsewhere, they had paper table cloths? (kind of tacky for such a pricey place)
