Good food and comfortable not luxury seating. Hard to see the name of the restaurant outside so you need to know the door number.

Food was very loosely inspired by Austrian cuisine (pappardelle, salmon, bacon?). Ate pretty badly: the salads were dry, bacon over cooked, wiener schnitzel not good with bad sauces, beer wasn’t even very good. Service was very slow as well - would not recommend

Wow, such an spectacular menu! The schnitzel was perfect! Also such a nice cozy vibe! We sat at the communal table and was a very nice experience. Need to go back to try all the other amazing items on the menu!

Very quaint and cozy, good food - but on the night I went there was only one server for all the tables, so service was slow, though she was very nice.

Wow has this place gone downhill in the last 10 years. I walk in there 20 minutes before the place closed and they said they already closed the kitchen. There is rap music blaring through the sound system. Who goes to an Austrian restaurant to hear rap music? They need to fire this entire staff and re-tool.

There's a reason this restaurant is constantly packed. From the intriguing exterior design to the lightly dim interior and superior service and delicious food, there is nothing Edi & The Wolf does not offer.
Came in on a Friday for dinner with a friend and we opted to try the Flatbread and I had the Short Rib.
My oh my, the flatbread was a cheesy bread goodness. Every bite had me craving more! The creme fraiche and gruyere combined together with something that tasted tangy like barbecue sauce really completed this flatbread!
My entree, the Short Rib was surprisingly the furthest thing from dry and cooked perfectly to medium rare. Straight down from the sauce to the celery root purée, I basically licked the whole plate. Every bite was flavorful, seasoned perfectly and cooked well.
Opt to make a reservation at a table or you might be sitting at a communal table. I'll definitely be back when it's warmer to sit in their garden outside!response / report this review -

Very chic restaurant serving Austrian/Germanic cuisine. Very cool decor and atmosphere; relaxed and cosy, but still romantic and private. Food is good. Comforting dishes accompanied by a good drink selection.

Somewhat authentic Austrian food but menu could use some more options (only sides were fries and Brussels sprouts, which were quite good though). Limited gluten free options. Nice selection of Austrian wines but given the region's normal pricing (much less than Germany), the prices were off base.

Edi and the Wolf was simply okay.
I tried the butternut squash ravioli and it was quite sweet and yet a bit bland all at once. It needed salt badly, or something savory, to make it work. A friend of mine who got the same dish agreed.
Our waitress also informed us at the tail end of our meal that she forgot to put alcohol in one of our cocktails. She did however bring us two more on the house after maybe 20 minutes of waiting.
It's a shame, because I really like this place's sister restaurant, Blaue Gans.response / report this review -

Friends recommended this Austrian restaurant, and so glad they did. Fascinating decor and delicious food. Will be going back.
