Love it! They have been so accommodating to our baby and stroller every time we've gone. No high chairs but they are happy to let us park the stroller next to a hightop by the bar. The food is great and the beer selection is quite good too!

The chicken and avocado quesadilla was truly very good. Fresh and hot. If it were cheaper I would go all the time. But all the food is pretty much overpriced; my quesadilla was $17 I believe. But what can you expect in the fidi? If you are a college student like me, this is a good place to have your family and friends take you when they are in town but not a winner for the day-to-day. As for the vibe, it has a pretty average pub feel to it. The service was adequate but not what I might hope for the price.

Open Door seems to get a lot of reviews for happy hour and people just going for drinks, so I wanted to comment on the food.

I went in for brunch on a sunday, and while I saw an online menu that said a brunch cocktail was included in a food order, I was disappointed to find out that it was no longer offered.

If you are in search for some good diner style breakfast food for brunch, Open Door's brunch menu will not fail you. The eggs/bacon/sausage/hash browns were very good and of a high quality. I do wish I had gone with toast instead of the sad biscuit I got though. The French Toast was also good, albeit a bit sweeter than your usual variety. A fruit cup included in each meal was nice as well.

The service was nice and fast, and it was good to sit in a nicely sized booth to eat. I think the one thing that makes this review edge toward 3.5 instead of 4 stars is that it would have been nice to have a mimosa (even if it was the typical watered down variety) included in the price since the price can seem a bit much for what could be normal breakfast food. That just might have been because of my original expectations though.

Great vegan sausages and tons of beer options. Delicious even for vegetarians! Close to union square. Always a fun place in the evening due to all the beers on tap.

I don't want to say I truly disliked it, it is a decent happy hour bar to go and visit and grab drinks. The food is typical bar food, and the location is really convenient for access to the SI ferry. It is a financial happy hour bar, so everyone is in suits at 5pm.

Saturday bartender is the man! I think his name was AC or JC or JD, but regardless, he's hysterical with quick service and pleasant conversation. The food is decent enough, but recommend sitting at the bar.
