Great, friendly staff. Rooms are newly remodeled, modern and clean. Comfy beds, cute polka dot shower curtain. Complimentary breakfast was ok- eggs were rubbery and bland. Waffles were yummy and lots of baked goods. Lots of parking and nearby shuttle service to the football game.

This property was amazing! Super clean inside and out. Staff was also extremely courteous. I thought from the look and smell that ut was brand new, but it was 5 years old. Will stay here again on my next trip to Ann Arbor!

We recently stayed at Towne Place because it was very close to a family reunion we were attending and they allowed dogs. The room was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay there again if we are ever in that part of MI again.

We used points to stay in a suite with a king size bed. The run was clean and very comfortable. Housekeeping was flexible and accommodated our request that they come back later. Staff was very friendly. Location was nice, near the highway but quiet. With a mall across the street, it was easy to pickup up the shirt I forgot to bring for the wedding we were attending.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, convenient location (near freeway, mall, and downtown) and clean, spacious rooms. The rooms would be good for extended business stays due to all of the kitchen amenities, though there is a plethora of restaurants within 2 miles. My only complaint is that I wish there was some sort of table that wasn't the desk for eating. If business took my back to Ann Arbor I would definitely stay here again.

Horrible second time around. We stayed here once and it was great. Stayed a second time, went to go to bed, pulled the comforter back and the mattress was soaked in urine. Huge circle of wet pee on the bedHUGE. Not only were the sheets not changed the bed was never checked! Sara moved us to a different room immediately, comped our stay and upgraded the room she moved us to. She also gave us a free night for a future stay. She was excellent in her customer service and didn't even give us time to be upset as she rectified everything and explained how embarrassing that was for the hotel. The upgraded room was nice but the freeway noise was unbearable. Our stay on the mall side was much more quiet. Then the next day, the front desk attendant did not check us out, when we checked out and they charged us for two nights stay, after we were informed that all charges were dropped FOR OUR ONE NIGHT STAY due to the urine on the mattress. So, the inept manager who gave the worst customer service EVER still has not reversed the charges and was not apologetic about the initial situation, nor the mistake of their staff members and then after a lengthy conversation involving Jamie (manager) constantly taking over me and interrupting, I got a "sorry" and a click. As if I were speaking to an unrully irritated 16 year old. Its a shame that management tarnished the spectacular customer service that was provided the night before. Jamie ruined all of Sara's efforts to provide top notch service. And that's a real shame. We have pursued contacting regional and corporate to resolve the issue and voice our extreme disappointment in this local branch. You take our chances with any hotel establishment, however, I suggest that you take your chance elsewhere. 4.75 stars is not always what it seems.

Small, but modern and comfortable suites. Heated pool and workout facility on premise. Good location close to shopping and not too far from Michigan campus.

Great location, near by shoppung center, lots of restaurants. Good service, room very clean. Decent fitness facility, swimming pool and hot tub. Highly recommended. Enjoy my staying here at this hotel.

I stayed for one night. Very clean, nice rooms, comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom is a bit small. No other complaints. The free breakfast is decent. Would stay again for the price.

My job sent me to take a four-month course at the University of Michigan and I stayed here the entire time. I absolutely love it here! Here are all the reasons why this hotel is awesome:
1. Room is really clean and perfect for an extended stay. It reminds me of studios I've seen and comes with a kitchenette equipped with cooking essentials including: utensils and china, tupperwares, chopping board, chopping knife, even a colander, measuring spoons, and so many other amenities. It has a large closet (again, perfect for extended stay) and a spacious desk area for work. My room was also really quiet, but it was on the fourth floor at the end of the hall far from the elevators, which probably helped.response / report this review
