Love going there. They have a water slide. Frisbee golf. Lots of room for family and bbq

A beautiful county park, it has something for everyone. I enjoy the trails which I cycle and walk. I enjoy fishing at lake Buhl, I have caught many fish. The organize events through the year are fun and inexpensive included in your park pass, they putting great Fourth of July fireworks show on every year.

Very pretty and well maintained park, there's a lot of wildlife in the park. They also have a beautiful banquet facility for weddings and celebrations. I most frequently attend the park for the mountain bike trails which have excellent flow anfd maintenance thanks to Paulie!

We loved camping here. But no full hook up, (and beach was closed). Very friendly and clean park. Large (level) campsites. Dont like that they charge for showers- should be free with paid camping.

This is a very beautiful venue..the staff are sweet and helpful. I was super early and the let me in to sit and look around without hesitation. I'll highly recommend everyone use this venue when planning events on the future. Thank You Addison Oaks!

We've gone here twice and both times had a pleasant experience. Nice facilities and nice grounds. If you are camping and plan on using the showers or laundry facilities be sure to have lots of quarters on hand. I would recommend getting your firewood before hand as it is $6 per bundle.

It's okay if a bit overpriced. The beach had to be closed while we were there. And they are on well water which smells of sulfur. Good venue for a wedding I guess or so I've heard from Friends. Prefer Pontiac Lake for camping.

This place used to be the best, but lately the swimming area has been taken over by seaweed and algae. We visited last week and didn't even want to swim it was getting so bad. The lake is almost half covered by lily pads, the sun can't get through to keep the seaweed in those areas alive to keep the lake clean and clear. Lily pads are not Endangered, it's the Lotus plant that is Endangered. They still have the best lists of activities for kids and adults. Love the place but please clean up that beautiful lake.

Beautiful park set back from the main road. We had a wedding reception here and the food was incredible. The ball room was perfect.

Best place for a weekend hike in the woods, boat ride, play with kids and relaxing evening. The park also offers lake facing camp sites. Look for some family events through out the year. You can buy annual parking pass online.

Over rated if you ask me and over priced entry fee especially if your a nonresident of Oakland County. If you're a hiker and you don't want to waste your money on over priced fees then go down the street to Bald Mountain State Rec. Area South. Much better trails, tons of different little lake to fish and some are as deep as 70ft according to my depth finder and its very peaceful and beautiful. If you're loud and obnoxious and you enjoy throwing your trash on the ground then come here cause with all the money they make from over charging people they can afford to hire someone to pick up your trash that your to lazy to dispose of yourself properly.

Did a morning hike with the dogs in the fall. Easy hiking terrain and small elevation changes. Not the best signage. Enjoyable trek overall. Did about 6 miles that morning. I recommend for a good half day out in nature. We will be visiting again in the future.

We stayed at Addison Oaks for four days. Our entire experience at this park was very pleasant. From the person handling our reservations on the phone to the employees we met while they were working around the campground to the staff who handled our check in when we got to the campground, everyone was friendly. The park was very clean, including the bathrooms and the dump stations. Our family enjoyed the scenery and the walking trails. The only drawback was that we had to pay for the showers, but it is a small price to pay (a quarter for 10 minutes) to have the showers be clean. Highly recommend this park.
