The actual production was PHENOMENAL!The lines were very long. There was a VIP speed pass option for an extra fee. The ticket counter staff member would not a allow a line accommodation for people with autism. I would suggest offering a warm sitting area as an option, with the same wait time as the general public. It would've cost our group of 4 an extra $40 for VIP passes. The line waiting was awkward and almost unbearable for us and our autistic family member, but we managed, and had to explain autism to a few people in the crowd who raised eyebrows. Just a waiting room that's my only suggestion.
It was a lot of fun, so much to do! Although we only got to see one kitten (not pet it), it /was/ very cold and understandable to leave the rest of them inside. The hayride brought on a lot of dry dirt on our way to the pumpkin patch and back, so bring a bandana to put over your face or prepare for a lot of dirt in your nose and eyes 😜 Overall plenty of attractions and for $10 a person (we were a group), it's a great deal! Already planning on coming back next year!
It's an excellent place to visit with friends in huge groups. Easily visible from the main road and ample parking space is there.
There are 3 things that you can do. One is to spend time at the bonfire making smores. Second is to go to scary forest which is a scary walking route. Third is a interesting made to spend your time in.
Over all a really good place to spend time at.
Visited with a group of school kids. Staff was great and the kids had a good time playing and petting or feeding animals. Loads of structures to play on, climb on and even roll around in. Interactive learning center in a beautiful round barn. Nice little corn maze. They offer a bigger maze plus all sorts of games and themed events.
My daughter just LOVES this farm. I especially recommend visiting in October I promise you won't be disappointed
Great place to have parties of any kind and events for kids!! Definitely get there for fall festival weekends and pumpkins!
Outstanding place. Top notch people and great facilities. Highly recommend.
I've been to Schuster's Farm for their fall festivities before and have always left extremely satisfied.
Recently, I had the opportunity to visit for a wedding reception in June. Schuster's did such a wonderful job!! Hayrides were offered to guests while the wedding party was doing photos, so we got to see the beautiful property in full bloom. The dinner and DJ were held in the Centennial Barn, which impeded the view for some of the tables towards the "back" but was insanely gorgeous. The acoustics were wonderful, and staff did a great job with decorations, bar service, and quickly moving tables to provide dancing space. They were on top of every need and desire.
I was impressed by the smaller details especially, such as keeping toilet paper and paper towels well stocked during the busy event; trash cans kept from becoming too full; as well as maintenance of cleanliness throughout the constant parade of people. If you've ever attended a large event, you know how quickly the garbage and filth can add up, but not at Schuster's Farm! Staff was attentive and everywhere, yet unobtrusive. They were very helpful.
I would highly recommend Schuster's Farm for your events. The grounds are beautiful; there was something for everyone (little ones loved the animals and play areas); and such exceptional service is a rare find.
We usually go out here for pumpkin season. They have a ton of activities for young kids. There are animals to look at, a giant potato sack slide, a barn filled with hay to climb and play on, playhouses, train ride, and a hay ride out to look at pumpkins. There is an admission fee and concessions on site, but it is worth it for the couple of hours of entertainment. It does get busy at times though, so plan on getting there early.
Good farm but the two years we have gone there have been bee issues. My daughter was stung once.
This place is a beast when it comes to Halloween! Going all out is an understatement. The Haunted Forest is by far the best haunted attraction for miles. Great sense of community, and lots to do. Just watch out for the dirt roads when windy, sand ends up in your eyes.
Great price for a day of fun fall activities. The pumpkins we got were amazing and picking them ourselves was so fun. Lots of space on the farm, and it never felt crowded. The restored barn is beautiful if you're looking for a place to host an event.
I absolutely love everything about Schuster's Farm! We recently had our wedding at the farm and used the playtime yard for our cocktail hour and the round barn for our reception. Our day was perfect much to the thanks of Theresa's detailed planning sessions with us and her amazing family and staff! The ceremony site in the pasture is the most beautiful place in Wisconsin! Our guests had so much fun on the wagon ride to/from the ceremony. Theresa even had a little golf cart to help transport the people who weren't as mobile (couldn't climb stairs). There is so much for kids and adults of all ages to do outside - playing with animals, sliding down slides, climbing on all of the wooden and tire items at the farm, enjoying the lovely flowers around the propertybut the most fun was the apple cannons! I can't speak highly enough of the farm (especially Theresa). There's a ton of great items to rent for decoration and very fair prices. If you ever have a reason to have an event at a farm, this is the absolute cream of the crop!! We will definitely be back whenever we are in town for the special memories here!!
