If your a fan of anything no matter the genre this is the place for you. Used books vinyl records collectables comics games. Movies. Posters.
I love this placerecords, books, moviesbasically a hodgepodge of cool stuff. And be sure you visit the basement!
A treasure in a charming urban neighborhood in a classic Midwestern city. Out of print classic books and vinyl abound. Popular with international tourists. Worth a drive down I-90!
Great place lots of selection, friendly people as well. Check this place out
Has always been a good store for music. The staff are rather well informed, and stock never suffers. Old and new vinyl alike is what you can find in here, along with a great atmosphere and staff. Unfortunately not very wheelchair friendly due to the age of the building
Solid vinyl selection with better prices than online retailers, lots of books, a great place for a date if you want to dig through old books.
Very nice people. If you looking for old records to buy or sell this is a great place to go.
I called the store with an odd question/request and they were super helpful!
Fantastic place, very knowledgeable staff, Max & Nick! Got a Great turntable and some of my favorite old releases on vinyl. I will be back again soon!
I could shop for hours at this place!
It's a amazing selection of records from 50s-80s and a decent amount of newer releases. They have so many books that I still haven't looked in all the rooms.
The owners are helpful, kind and know what they are talking about.
Toad Hall is awesome! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great collection of books, cd's, dvd's, blurays, records, cassettes, etc
Great selection of records including obscure and hard to find titles. Plan on spending a few hours here digging through the stacks.
Such a variety here. The main floor has records both old and new, dvds, cds, cassettes, and books. Essentially everything in the store not a record is used. The second floor is ALL books. I only give it 4 stars because I feel some of the used books are priced a little high and the lighting makes it hard to read what you have upstairs, but you do get a deal on them at the register (and used records, too). Just ask them about any deals. There is also a basement full of records and some books.
I have gone to Toad Hall for over 35 years. They have an enormous collection of vinyl records, comic books, paper back and hardbound books, CDs, cassette tapes, and much more. The volume of inventory is incredible. And the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
Amazing place for crate digging. This store is packed from floor to ceiling, and even has a basement crammed with goodies. The records are in relatively good order, but there is SO MUCH to see here. It's practically impossible to walk out without something. They have a TON of records of course, and a large variety of magazines, books, old school audio devices, dvds, etc
The record collection here is truly amazing though. There are step stools and ladders around so you can reach the higher shelves, and records are crammed in anywhere they will fit. You can sell records here too of course, but you're normally going to get a buck per record. Unless it's something really amazing. And they're relatively choosy, well they have to be considering they have little room for additional stock and so much already.
Hours are somewhat limited, but it's easily the best record store in a 75 mile radius that I've been to.
