What I love about Breo is that it isn't a place for just one type of person. You can bring a date here or you can just sit at the bar and have a glass or whatever the hell you want with your friends. The food is outstanding, of course. It's small plates, so be prepared to spend a little more and share with your buddies. The staff is fantastic and the decor is on point. Again, you can either make a reservation or just walk right in and have a drink.

This is my favorite Rockford restaurant! The food is exceptional and I'm thrilled that the dining room is open again.

Stopped in for drinks and was pleasantly welcomed. Great atmosphere and even better wait staff. Challenge them. They know their stuff about everything on the menu. You won't find that level of expertise and care anywhere else here in town. On a sadder note, the prices are crazy high. Beers are a usual $5, but all the food prices are wild. The appetizers we got tasted great and were all made in-house. I would assume as much for entrees, but us poor folk need to be prepared.

Wonderful people, especially Anthony who kept each new dish ordered coming on schedule. Started with delightful Apple Salad, Shrimp, Chicken and Mushroom Crepes, and finally Duck with red cabbage. All excellence in presentation and tasteful. Great location!

Incredible food and drinks, locally sourced ingredients, and cozy environment. The staff was very accommodating with my vegetarian family to modify some items on the menu for us. This is the best food experience in the Rockford/Stateline area!

Very nice date place, great atmosphere. The food smelled wonderful. Being that I can't have gluten, my choices were limited. But the atmosphere really made up for it. :) I stress date night or at least adult outing. Not really a kid friendly place, from food to atmoshere.

I love this place! The menu is in constant motion and the

“Consistently good over many years”
We've gone to Stockholm Inn since first arriving in Rockford in 1986. It is an institution in the city and well-deserved. Always delicious for breakfast/brunch - Swedish pancakes, of course, eggs, wonderful American fries. Honestly, have not gone for traditional lunch or dinner, but I'd bet it's very good as well.response / report this review
