Amazing food, taste just like it does in New Orleans. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. Cant wait to go back again!

Very disappointing service today. The food here is amazing. It's been my favorite restaurant for a while, despite sometimes slow service, and I've introduced several friends and families to the restaurant. This was the case today, I had my family and another family, a party of 8 in total, and I had ranted and raved about the place to them. We arrived and there was limited seating available. We were told a 40-50min wait time. Problem is, there were several tables empty, and in particular there were two 4 seater tables next to each other that could have easily been put together to accommodate us. We asked the hostess if they would mind doing that for us, and the hostess told us no because "they'd never done that before" ok. So we wait, and small party after small party walk in and are seated. The two tables next to each-other remain empty for probably 30 mins. Finally they seated a party of 4 in one of the tables while we were still waiting. Then they seated two people at a nearby table that looked like it would seat 6 (I imagine the rest of their party would arrive shortly, but this is all while we were still waiting). After an hour, my pregnant wife, our friends that we brought out to winter park to try this awesome restaurant, and myself left. This is the first review I have ever left on google, I never complain or review. I was very disappointed in a place that I expected the best out of, and tell people about on a regular basis. They really could have seated us with very little effort, and they lost 8 paying customers for no good reason.

The food here was amazing, service was prompt. Had one little bump and the manager fixed it immediately. Everyone from start to finish were friendly.

I got the shrimp poboy, girlfriend got the blackened chicken. Both dishes were fantastic. Quick service too, even though they were very packed. Good selection of drinks, although I wish they served the New Orleans style Pimm's Cup.

Food was good, restaurant is very nice but the service was simply unacceptable. The restaurant was only half full yet we had to wait 10 min just to get our drink order. Once we got the drinks, refill was impossible we had to look for the waiter and grab his attention too many times.
I would highly recommend adding more waiters, even one more would probably make a significant difference.
Too bad, the food would have brought us back. The service will keep us away.

The food is amazing and we returned after our first experience. However, this time our server was in such a rush that we didn't get to enjoy the food. She clearly wasn't having a good day and we are not demanding people, so as long as you take my order, get my food and maybe a refill on drinks we will be happy. It wasn't even 10 minutes that I had my main course plate, same as another person at my table, when she was already asking if we wanted dessert. I suggested that I didn't know yet since I hadn't finished my food. She then proceeded to bring the check "while I decided if I wanted dessert". I couldn't even finish the other half of the plate that I was actually enjoying very much. Once she brought the check to the table I was still eating but then asked for a box since it was clear that she didn't want us to be there. Not sure if she wanted that particular line of tables to be clear quickly but that was not the way to do it. We went for an special occasion and we left with a bad taste, and sadly not from the food but from the service. I am the type of customer that I always leave 20% no matter what but his time I thought that it was appropriate to tip the minimum this time. I would gladly speak with the management about my experience. This is a great place ! But the management needs to be really careful and train their personnel accordingly. Thank you.

We've eaten there twice now. Both experiences were 5-star.
The host meets you at the door to welcome you. The service is always great, and the management makes the rounds to check on satisfaction.
The flavors (though not what I would consider strongly reminiscent of NOLA) are well developed, and the textures are beyond perfect.
The shrimp is amazing (try the BBQ Shrimp appetizer-- it's not really BBQ, but it's killer!). The eggplant casserole was super tasty. Also, the fried eggplant was cooked to perfection.
Treat yourself to this place. The staff and food are wonderful!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Food was great, and dare I say authentic. Service was good and it's a neat atmosphere I didn't expect to be tucked away in a shopping plaza. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality.

Loud, and that's all right. The food is fabulous and the staff has a great sense of humor. If you're on a strict diet, run the other way. This is comfort food with no excuses. It's all delicious, so come and enjoy, but don't tell your friends. It's busy enough here.

Food is OK to maybe a touch above. Went as part of a group celebrating a friend's birthday. Establishment was well aware of the number attending (23+). Slowest service I have ever experienced, more than an hour to take the orders and get food on the table. Almost left before food arrived. I would suggest not to go as a large group at lunch time.
