Went here with the wife for a friend's party. We had a prix fixe menu and the options were really good.
The food is unquestionably good. We didn't go too deep into the wine selection, but we had was fine and their list looked really good. Tons of options, both in terms of price and quality/variety.
Our service was fantastic. Very punctual, attentive, and super friendly. We had brought our own cake and they sliced and served the entire thing.
Definitely pricy, but the experience is top notch and worth it for special occasions.response / report this review -

My husband and I visited Luma Saturday evening. We arrived before 1730 (530PM), so we sat at the bar. I ordered a top shelf Long Island Iced Tea and it was not good at all. My husband enjoyed his shot of whiskey. Make sure you get the truffle popcorn. It is so good. We ordered and shared the burger. It was ridiculously good along with fries. I can't say we will return because I really didn't like my drink, but it is a possibility.

Once entering the restaurant was greeted by a hostess with attitude. Our friends joining us arrived before us and encountered push back and attitude as well. This kind of set the tone for the way dinner would be but the ambience and features on the menu overcame that. Our server seemed very nice and eager to help, gave recommendations when she could. After placing our orders are salads and appetizers came out and we're fine. When entrees came out they looked great but lacked taste. The same was followed up by dessert. We were there celebrating a birthday that wasn't even acknowledged even with specific mention during reservations, and with second mention during check in with the hostess. All in all Luma is a very nice-looking restaurant but our experience was subpar. I would not recommend this as a dining option to any of my friends.

I will 100% be back to Luma on the Park. The food was incredible, so fresh and delicious. If you're a fan of truffle oil like me, you'll die for the truffle popcorn and truffle potato puree. Our waiter Cory was really great as well, super friendly and had the best menu suggestions. Loved the whole thing. Oh, and get the chocolate mousse!

Great ambiance. Drinks were fine. The food is good but not memorable and I've been here twice trying different things on the menu; the food is not close to finer places in town. Service was decent but the staff was a little too formal. There are better places to drop 100+ dollars for dinner and drinks for two.

A Winter Park staple. Great food, great wine selection, fantastic desserts. Rarely have had a disappointing meal, however the environment at times can feel slightly pretentious and often bottles of wine I can buy for $10 are drastically (almost absurdly) marked up (I understand the need to make a profit, but again if I'm paying $10 at the store for a bottle they are probably paying $6 and then charging $12 for a 4oz pour). For events, it is a fantastic venue with the Cellar. Located beneath the dining area with a gorgeous staircase. Centrally located so guests can walk the avenue, enjoy the park, easily ride the Sun Rail, or park using either Valet or the ample parking behind Bank of America.

Service was excellent, very friendly waiter who was always willing to explain whenever we had questions. Also a nice atmosphere. Their wine collection was impressive.
The food however was mediocre. When I saw the menu I had high expectations, they have good ideas regarding combinations. However they lak in subtlety. Evert hing was way to salty, desserts were so heavy that after 2 bites my appetite was over. At first I thought it was the 'American flavour', but since then I have visited several other quality restaurants to know this isn't so. If they really want to achieve a culinary level, they have to work on this.
In retrospect I am somewhat disappointed in my visit seeing how high the price is. I expect more in this price category.response / report this review -

This restaurant was great! The service was fantastic. My water glass was always filled to the top. The food was amazing. The food is modern American with good local (USA) produce. The torrentes wine from Argentina was divine and is a must try when you go there.

The epitome of a "5 star" dinner. I brought my girlfriend here and she loved it. Albeit, the portion sizes also fit the typical 5-star stereotypes (meaning, it's about $30 for a relatively small duck), but I would pay it over and over again. If you are wondering whether or not you should visit, the answer should be yes; but you should study the menu ahead of time (because it changes frequently) & make sure you ask about each dish and new item. I couldn't find a single thing on the menu that my girlfriend and I didn't absolutely love. I recommend finding some time to give yourself access to this wonderful experience on Central Florida's notorious Park Avenue.

My friend, her mom, and myself ate here on a Friday night recently in celebration of her graduation and her mom's birthday. We were seated in the back of the restaurant with a view of the kitchen, which seemed to be the norm for special occasions at Luma. The ambiance of the restaurant was energetic but not chaotic in the least. Our server, Diane, was knowledgeable about the menu and answered our questions with ease. The food itself was good, but the portions were smaller than I expected. I selected the Butcher's Blend Beef Burger that came with a side of rosemary fries. The burger itself was flavorful and delicious, but the fries were bland and included two twigs of rosemary, barely enough to be considered "rosemary fries." Although it was listed under "Small Plates" on the menu, it was quite filling and more than enough for one person. Due to our special occasion, Diane brought us glasses of champagne and a dessert of our choosing, both on the house. We thought that was a nice touch. All-in-all, it was a good experience and I would go back if/when I'm in the Winter Park area again.

Great restaurant. Complimentary valet for parking which is nice on Park Ave. Great 4 level wine list with very good wines at very affordable prices for bottles, glasses, and half glasses. Also have an impressive fine wine list. Menu has small plates and entrees. Everything was creative and perfectly executed. Service was team style and attentive. Very cool interior design makes it a great setting for a nice meal.
