Perfectly fine hotel. The theme was kind of cool, but not totally our thing, so we could take it or leave it. Decent breakfast in the morning. No outlet in the bathroom was tough. And kind of crappy lighting in the room, so some difficulty getting ready for our event. And the heating system is definitely annoying. Not only is it not that warm, but it's so incredibly loud that when it switches on and off all night, it wakes you up. It was just one night though, and a short walk to our event at Fenway, so overall, it was fine.
This hotel is amazing. Using a space that was clearly outdated and making it amazing. It has a great vibe and theme and is now among my favorite boutique hotels. Amazingly located in the city at a fair price. I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you're in town for a musical event like I was. I would recommend they bring it to the next level and start to theme every room and make the records in that room relate to that theme and the decorations match.
Loved this place! Such a fun themed hotel. Very cool to be able to select records and play them in your room. Very great location and great service.
Stayed here when I was running a Spartan race at Fenway park and the hotel offered an awesome view of the stadium to be able to watch others compete.
Amazing hotel. They really will go out of their way to make you feel like you're at home while staying here. Had a few special requests upon arrival and they were handled flawlessly. Extremely clean room and attentive staff. Right in the heart of Fenway you really can't find a better place to stay.
What a great place! As you can see from the website the hotel is themed around all things popular music - that could be a bit naff but this is don so well that the decor deserves 5 stars alone.
Rooms with turntables and a steady supply of LPs is just one of the nice touches.
But the decor is not the only thing - the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is muffins, coffee, cereals etc., all that we needed. The coffee is also in the rooms and good quality.
All in all we found it lively, fun and we wanted to re-book for the return tripsadly they were full - so book early!
Very helpful and friendly staff, valet parking which was quite handy, and an overall great vibe to the place. The room was very well put together and clean. Loved the record player and the selection of records to choose from. Will definitely be going back some time and would highly recommend.
A cute hotel right in the middle of action. I loved the colours and decor. Very "Instagram worthy" - also cool to note it was formerly a cheap motel turned funky. As tourists we enjoyed this spot.
Great hotel if you're in town for a game. Right next to Fenway! Hotel has a fun vibe. Rooms are nicely decorated with the retro music theme
Great place. Staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed very happy. The rooms were really clean and neat. The phonograph is an awesome touch and adds a cool factor. The shower is really amazing as well. The attached restaurant and bar was excellent. We had a stadium view room and was not dissapointed by the amazing view of Fenway Park. I would definitely stay here again.
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Quiet rooms in a quirky hotel. The pool was too cold. We also needed another pillow and never got through to housekeeping to ask for one (we tried twice). Overall I recommend for a fun place to stay.
This is a really cool hotel! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only thing strange about it is the shower in the bathroom but otherwise it was a fantastic experience. It's in the heart of Boston close to pretty much anything you'd want to do.
Good service and quirky hotel, the breakfast was pretty good for being free, however they did have a few days where there was a shortage of bowls. Housekeeping was very good. The sliding door to the bathroom could get stuck if closed too hard so be careful!
If you're a fan of rock n' roll, this is the place for you. As soon as you enter the front door, immediately to your left are two guitars - 1 electric Fender and 1 acoustic - with an amp set up for whoever wants to jam out in the lobby. Upon entering your room, you're greeted with a record player in your room, and a selection of classic records in the lobby to enjoy whilst lounging around in your room. Prices are reasonable, too. However, from what I've heard, prices spike during baseball season, so be aware of that. The one weird thing I found was the bathroom. It's covered with a sliding door/wall, and on the other side is a depiction if cameramen snapping photos. :
Great atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. Only downside is that we had no choice but to pay $48 for valet parking or did we? Not sure if we did or not, but that's the way it seemed so that's what happened. Also, when the shower floor get wet it's dangerous. Add soap and it's deadly. Beautiful bathroom but that shower will kill you if you let it. Be careful.
The hotel is really cool, has a strong retro, 80's vibe to it. The room was nice and trendy. There is a record player in every room with a random record which was really neat. Over all had a very pleasant stay. The only thing was the room was very hot, I tried to adjust the thermostat but the heater stayed on all night. The window opens up but only so much. Another thing, this might be my fault for not doing enough research but overnight valet parking to have you car parked at the hotel (the only option you have to park there) is 45$ a night. You have the option to park on the street or in a parking garage but being unfamiliar with the area, felt uneasy about doing so. Despite those minor setbacks the hotel itself was very pleasant. Oh and the breakfast was actually very good, don't listen to the other reviews.
