Great family oriented campground. Beautiful area - with the river on one side and the bike path on the other. We love the Halloween weekends!
Great campground. Staff friendly and helpful. Cleanest bathrooms and shower rooms we have ever seen. (private single shower rooms) Even the dog park was clean and neat.loved our stay there. (Even got used to trains across the river) As Arnold says "We'll be BACK"..
Beautiful space along the river's edge. Beautiful bike path, hiking, great dog walk area. Immaculate rest rooms. Great common areas with very nice places for kids and very good dog walk area, in nice shade. There are periodic trains across the river but they didn't bother me
Just got back from 3 night stay. Loved it. We had a river front site. We were greeted by a lovely women who gave us instructions to the office. Then once checked in we were escorted to our site. The campgrounds has excellent facilities, but the river was the best amenity you could ever ask for. We are planning on going back.
We actually just got set up on a premium river site. The campground seems nice and clean but I really wished they would have mentioned the train tracks directly across the river. So far it seems to be one an hour. Hopefully it won't be all night long.

Really wished I had read the other reviews about the train. The trains do run all night. Got woke up at 2:30 am Friday and Saturday nights. We rented a canoe from them, just got in the water and capsized. Decided not to tempt fate and just had the guys take us back. When I asked if I could get a refund since we didn't get 2 feet from shore I was told no refunds. I get that they have to have a no refund policy for certain conditions but it would have went a long way for customer service when you have a soaking wet person standing at your desk asking for a refund to bend that policy. Apparently it's all about the money and not the experience.
One of the more nice campgrounds we've seen for awhile. Riverside lots available. New cabins available as of 2017. Friendly staff. Though trains across the river run often, they do not sound their air horns near the camp and we did not consider this a distraction. Pull-through lots are receiving new 6 inch diameter shade trees. Nice playground area. Canoes. The big pull for we retirees was the fabulous rail-trail that runs right through the camp. We would come back again.
Tubing on the Yough was really fun. There are a few rapids along the way. When you just go to have a picnic with someone camping here though, it's $4 per person.
We camp here all summer long! I think 13 times this past summer to be honest. Been to many campgrounds but this one is by far the best! Workers and seasonals are just like family. Cleanest campground I have ever been to. Lots to do or just relax by the river. Great pool and store. Can not wait till spring!
Great location right off the Great Allegheny Trail to stop and camp. They have a pool, bathrooms, washing machines, and showers. I wish the camping spots for tents were better as they are in a wet area.
The staff was very friendly and it was clean. The few premium sites are nice but the others are small, mostly gravel, little grass and no shade. The roads are unpaved and while the showers/bathrooms are nice, there are very few and were very far away from us. So I would only suggest this place if you have a toilet/shower in you RV and are planning on spending a lot of time on the river & bike trails. Oh, and there is a train that goes by frequently.
Great place to take kids. Very friendly campground. Well kept. This will be our third weekend this season.
