Great bait shop. One stop shop with everything you need to fish including good advice. Was hoping to catch shark but still did good.

This is the best place to buy tackle and bait in Marathon. I brought 4 rods in and the owner installed new reels, line, and tackle on all of them. He took the time (1 hour) to show my teenage boys how to tie knots and bait hooks. He also hooked us up with bait and fishing coordinates for some of the best fishing around Marathon!

Thanks again for all your help!

Very knowledgeable staff. First time fishing the keys, they told me where to fish what bait to use, how to rig my lines and we caught more than 2 dozen fish in approximately 2hours. Highly recommend!!!

Family owned, down home folks. Chris and his staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. They helped me and my Buddy really have an awesome fishing experience with our family. If you're in town on vacation, and you need to know where to go and what to use, this is the place to go. When I come back (very soon I hope) I will be going there first! Thanks Chris.

This is THE place to go here in Marathon! Friendly advice given to tourists and locals alike. Need to know where the fish are and what is biting? Stop on in, the fishing reports at the shop are always right on! I have been shopping here for a long time, prices are great, selection is awesome and they even make custom lures and do rod and reel repair! Unlike other shops they always have live bait, and a good supply of chum on hand.

Super nice people called them to see if they were still open just as they were closing and they stayed open for me just to come get a couple things. I will remember this place and recommend it to anyone going to Marathon to do some fishing. The Ballyhoo were very fresh the pilchards were big and all did the job. Thanks again for the great experience see y'all next year !

Great honest knowledge to assist tourists and locals alike. Chris took the time to answer all my questions on tackle, bait, and fishing spots based on the conditions. Even provided some wise advice on an upcoming snorkeling trip that could have turned out badly.

Made a stop as I needed bait for my pier fishing. I asked what was biting the owner replied flukes and bluefish. Great I can catch dinner what do you suggest I use. Shiners for fluke bunker for blues nice so as I was going to grab frozen bunker I see fresh is available and peanut shad sweet. The staff asked how many bunker I wanted 3 I replied so 3 nice fatties were bagged up for me and taken to the counter.

I brought a few rigs which I see they have all your needs rigs, hooks, sinkers and rod blanks and combos too. My next trip I will take a few in store pics I was just in a hurry. The staff were extremely helpful father said sir I can ring you up daughter reply Dad I have his bunker. I like that tug a war to help me now don't do that cause I can become spoiled very quickly. I will now use Tackle Box as my go to place when I hit Keyport, Keansburg Pier and Sandy Hook.

Great bait shop that has everything you need. Live bait is hearty and you can get frozen to if that's your thing. Tackle is extensive and apparel is from name brands like Costa.
