Thank you for helping me with my dog even though we are poor. You didn't look down on us and you did what you could for his ankle. I can't afford x-rays right now but I will be back as soon as I can.

Many many thanks Dr. Doug Mader for treating and helping to heal my 12 - year old Westie late at night just before Hurricane Irma hit us as W ally suffered a nasty dog bite.

And I will also always be grateful for his help in finding me and the dogs emergency accommodations.

The good Doctor and his staff are friendly, calm, efficient and sympathetic. THANK YOU!

Best vet hospital from Key West to Marathon, probably best on the keys. Very nice people working there. We love our doctor Gerry Diethelm, she is the best, she treats our baby like her own. We had a very bad experience with Key West vet, so now we finally found our doctor. Thank you, Dr. Gerry!

I live in Key Largo and make the drive to Marathon for my pup. She's like one of my kids and after some research I took her there as a 2 month old because it seemed like the best place. The other vets I took her to in Miami were horrible and wanted to give her really strong mange treatments after she was just starting to recover from a bad case of double pneumonia! She was a rescue and got off to rough start. Mange is a weak immune system issue and believe it or not there are natural cures that really work (like Ted from Bangkoks). Anyway, Dr Gerry has always been open to alternative therapy and is so compationate. The place is clean, staff is efficient, and I have never waited with an appointment. When Maggie has been ill the call back time is great and I have nothing but great things to say about the place. Go see Dr. Gerry!

This is one of the best veterinarian places I have ever been to. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff and courteous. I would have rated this a 5 star but the wait time is long. You can expect at least a 2 hour turn around in and out the door. Even for just a check up.

This is the best place to board your pets when going out of town. They offer reasonable rates and have a staff member on site 24/7, which was a big reason that I decided against boarding at other places in the past. The kennel moms always take good care of my cat and are happy to give status updates when I call to check in on him during longer holidays. Thanks for all that you do! :)

OMG DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!! They love to run tests and collect fees for visits, but they don't actually want to prescribe your dog anything that will make them better. My dogs got diarrhea from drinking muddy stagnant water. Should have been in and out, but noooo. Dr. Quin the medicine woman had to make me and my husband wait for like an hour and a half. Then she was like, "just feed him pumpkin." My husband would not let her off the hook. He told he wanted the pills and guess what, she prescribed them. So I ask you, the people, if my husband hadn't gotten the meds, what would have been the result? They would have told me to come back and pay for ANOTHER visit. #hatethisplace!!!

Don't waste your time or your money. The vets are going to tell you to go homeopathic after making you wait at least 1 hour. I was thoroughly unimpressed with the majority female staff. The old hens/Dr's flutter about and order the younger chicks around. None of them actually seems to know what they're doing. Also, I got charged $500 for "Pre-dental" blood work on two little Yorkies. Major waste of time and money. Go to the nature food store and ask them what you should give your pet. That'll save you $500 and a couple hours. Last of all, I would thoroughly question them before letting them do surgery on your pet. They wanted to put our Yorkies under, even though they are 10 years old. That would have been a $4000 bill.#miserable!!!

The staff and doctors here are first rate! When I bring my pet her, it is to get the best diagnostics and a plan to keep my pet as healthy as possible. At other practices, tests are run, diagnoses made, but the plan or treatment, or the options often remain cloudy. Not so at Marathon Veterinary Hospital. I always get the results, have great knowledgeable doctors and know my pet is getting the best care available. They may not be the cheapest, but they are the most thorough and professional.

My dog was seriously injured by another dog on a Sunday night. Marathon Veterinary Hospital is open 24 hours. Their staff and doctor saw my dog and gave her the emergency medical attention she needed.

They have followed up with me regularly, allowed me to call/email the doctor directly with questions or concerns and, in my opinion, given my pup and I the best service possible.

I can't recommend them highly enough.

I went in for an emergency appointment for my bunny. He was very sick and ended up passing in their care. I know how hard it must have been for them, but they were extremely nice to me. They even sent me a card, which they didn't have to do. It was very thoughtful of them.
