It was a great visit. We sat in a seat by the window. The staff was friendly and professional and I enjoyed the food mostly, the only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the seafood platter was fried too hard (I could barely taste the oysters) and the bisque was too starchy. My husband enjoyed his fried shrimp.

Nice, semi-upscale atmosphere, but come as you are. Good food at average prices. Wait staff was very nice and attentive. Wish the shrimp was local wild-caught, but it's not. I recommend the seafood bisque. Very tasty.

Love this place! We visited today for lunch and enjoyed it immensely. My husband loved the Pine Bark Stew and I loved the coconut shrimp and crab & shrimp soup.

Timothy and his trainee (Anna I believe) were a great team. The food was really delicious, and priced similar to other River Street restaurants. The atmosphere was relaxed and the music not to loud. Really enjoyed the whole experience and how attentive our servers were.

We went looking for a place with live music. Came across the Shrimp factory where the guitar player/singer in the bar area was just taking a break. We sat down ordered drinks and an appetizer and then he started back playinghe was awful. Careful who you hire for your entertainment. Really took away from what could have a been a great atmosphere. Food was still good and wait staff very professional.

DO NOT GO HERE. The list is long. We waited 15 minutes to be greeted. I had to go to the host stand and ask for our waiter. Max (don't sit in his section if you can help it) was completely ambivalent and didn't even bother to apologize. We then received week old Kroger mini muffins as the "bread" for the table. What a joke. We asked for a few beers (no way were we going to eat here) and the check with two beers to go. We got the beers 10 minutes later or so. And then 25 minutes later I had to go the the host stand AGAIN to ask for a manager to get my check. It was just an awful waste of time all around. Everyone around us was having the same experience.

Went to eat here on a friend's recommendation. The staff was excellent and made me feel right at home. Plus amazing views of River street are a huge bonus. Get your shopping done at river street and end it all at the shrimp factory.

I had a tasty shrimp salad sandwich and Caesars salad and my husband really liked his shrimp, sausage creole. Prices were very reasonable and staff was attentive. Restaurant is located along the river. Temp inside was a bit over air conditioned. We would return.

I am giving this restaurant six stars for a few reasons. The ambiance was amazing and a great fit for river street. Our server was awesome and very sweet. My shrimp and grits was delicious and my bfs fried seafood was as well. Our son ordered the chicken tenders and they were huge! You rarely see that for a kid's meal! Definitely recommend

I had the Shrimp Creole (ordered it "spicy"), my wife had crab cakes. Both were excellent and filling. Prices weren't as bad as some tourist areas we have been recently. I recommend this place!

My husband and I ate at this establishment tonight and our experience was average. Food was good( I ate the crab legs with shrimp and my husband had the Fried Oysters and shrimp). My only issue is when I received my crab legs they were like warmnot hot or steaming. It was an indication that maybe our server took to long to get them from the kitchen when they were done or they had been sitting for a while already in the pot. My husband said his food was good but he believe he could of got more for his money elsewhere ( I explained to him I think the price is due to the location). Side note, we took our daughter with us and using the bathroom was an inconvenience due to no changing tableit could be a little more family friendly. Other than thatit's a nice place over all!

This place is definitely worth the trip. Food was top notch. Portion size - just right. Excellent service by Ford. Drinks - Recommend the Black & Blue Cosmo & the Bloody Mary!! Happy Hour all the time.
