Vacationed 15-16 Dec 2017 in Room 204. Mr. Chris at the front desk was very helpful in suggesting areas of interest and Mr. Scott, who works at the bar, was very helpful (he was doing 8 things at once but very efficiently). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent but the shower is lukewarm (we were taking showers in the morning when most guests were likely showering as well). Excellent trip.

Stayed there 3 times in last year and 4 overall. While its a fun place I thought the room this time was a bit dingy. The breakfast is tiny and certainly should be more than a small continental breakfast for what we are paying. Additionally, some of us a diabetic and have to watch or sugar intake, the Inn has nothing on the menu for "breakfast" that helps those of us like that at all. Maybe a bit more thought to the medical needs perhaps of guests. We will probably be back however, because it is one of our favorite Savannah stays

This place is amazing. It is a little on the pricey scale for some folks I heard sitting there however I thought it was fairly normal priced where I come from. It is on some of the pub crawl and ghosts tours so you get to find out the wondering history behind it. If you get a chance take one because they are definitely worth it, not for the sightings or anything crazy but just to hear the history. (Sorry I am a non believer in ghost).

Absolutely one of the best hotels in the country (from experience at staying over 200+ hotels in US alone). The host was absolutely kind and helpful, answering all the questions and concerns, as well as been cheerful.

The room was an absolute beauty, perfectly preserved from the 1800s with a few modifications.

Completely affordable during the low-season, worth every penny. I would recommend a long-term stay at this very comfortable and accommodating establishment.

This was my first stay in Savannah. This Inn is so cute and historical. The staff were fabulous and the dinner was excellent. Bar area is small and not well staffed. My room was not in the main house but across the street and down the block which I was not happy with. The room was very nice with updated bath and sitting room-but if you come back after dark it's a little spooky. There are NO elevators in main house-lots of stairs Also it is NOT centrally located. If you love to walk this is for you. I am older and found it difficult-had to take taxis-which are few and far between. For my first stay this was adequate and friendly.

Four stars for an environment that takes you back to the post revolution era on a cozy dinning room. The piano player at dinner ads a nice calming atmosphere to dinner as well. The food quality is very nice with dishes that have some nice touches on traditional American fare. The beer selection is a little narrow with only one local microbrewery.

The dining room is comprised of exposed brick walls and beam ceilings. The pianist played at an appropriate level for dining. The 1790 salad, the melt in your mouth biscuits, the crab stew and the escargot on puff pastry were phenomenal. However stay away from the crab cakes. Too much filler hardly any crab meat. The grouper was very good.

We spent one night in the guest house where we had a lockable sleeping room and a bathroom with steam shower and whirlpool bathtub, as well as an additional living room that could also be used by the other guests. All was in a historic surrounding, however being in a good shape. The personnel was very friendly and took all time needed to explain everything to us. The city center can be easily reached with a ten-minute walk and there is enough parking space available. All in all it was a remarkable stay and we would have loved to spend more than just one night in this Inn!

Stayed at the 17Hundred90 Inn and Restaurant this past weekend and had such a great time. The inn is unique in that it kept the antique feeling, it’s like stepping back in time. The best part of the stay is the staff. The staff was wonderful and made our stay very enjoyable. From my first experience with Katrina (who is amazing) prior to arriving to the hotel, to the checkout process, it was stress-free. We interacted with the front desk, owner, bartenders, and cleaning staff, and I have only positive things to say. The Inn is at a great location, and the restaurant and bar are fabulous.

Few things:
• There is no elevator (which is fine, it keeps the inn feeling like stepping back in time), so verify where your room is located.
• The breakfast is not a hot breakfast, but it has a great variety.
• Book directly with the inn. I booked through a third party and due to something out of our control, could not stay one of the nights. Dealing with the third party was a nightmare, but when I called the hotel, the staff was great. Katrina helped me through the process. Honestly, when you look at the rates at the hotel and with a third party, there is not much difference, if any. Lesson learned.
• Have dinner at the hotel, it’s a great restaurant, don’t overlook it.

A special and delightful experience for my wife and I; authentic historical ambiance! Honey/butter soaked rolls/biscuits were hot out of the oven and melted in my mouth. Service was spectacular by Scottone of the finest waiters in the business nationwide! The only reason we give it a 3 star rating is because my Grouper, one of the two specials last night, had no taste, even with the special sauce over it. Everything else was excellent in quality, taste, and quantity. We will return just for the experience and the rolls. Superb wine list.

Love this place. The dining room is cozy and you feel surrounded by history. I've never had a bad dish here and my friends agree. This is one of the great "must go" restaurants in Savannah.

Stayed in room 204, few unanswered events happen while in the room. Must stay to see for self. Very comfortable bed, shower doesn't work so well. But all in all nice.

I'm only reviewing the bar. Scott makes some killer drinks and is super nice. Best basic Bloody Mary I've ever had. It's a cool old place you should pop in and have a drink at.
