Salmon blt and salmon tacos are the best we've had anywhere and highly recommended. Seafood selection is great. Service is the best. Good wine and beer selection.Very enjoyable dining experience. Cannot get better quality food and service. Arrive early as it fills up quickly.

The menu and service at Driftaway remain fantastic. Food quality is always high. Cannot wait to try the Sunday brunch again. Best locally owned restaurant in town.

Sat on the porch and listened to live music with my wife and friends. The only way it could have been better is if we were over looking the water. Food was very good, the margaritas were a little week, but overall it was a great time.

My friend & I recently enjoyed lunch. When we arrived we were met at the door & promptly seated. My friends tuna tacos were the best she's ever had. My fried chicken salad delicious!

Third time I've eaten here and I would have given it 5 stars except for one BIG reason. Each time I've eaten here they clean their glass top tables with a horrible smelling cleaning spray that almost ruins the whole dining experience. Please stop, use something unscented. It is a cute place. Very casual as the waitresses wore cutoffs which didn't match the prices of the food. Started with the crab stew. It was too thick, with not much crab. We ate 4 different entrees, and each was enjoyed. But all of us were put off by the cleaning solution. Still it was fun and the food was good.

We first enjoyed the Driftaway 6 months ago, and it instantly became top-rated in our "we gotta come back here next time we're in Savannah" list. We made a return trip last week, and we were just as impressed as the first time. Great food, excellent service, and a fun, casual atmosphere. Can't wait for the next trip!

We go to Driftaway almost weekly because the service, food and bar is consistently reliable. We look forward to the specials but even the regular menu offers a good variety. Great fried green tomatoes, best salads for the $!

Ask for Deb!!! She's the absolute best! She is everything you would want for someone to take care of you while eating out. Funny, nice, quick, and very attentative. Hands down, coming back just to be around her contagious energetic personality! Oh, and it helps the food is amazing too. Oyster sandwich - 10 out of 10 stars from me!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere! It was lively with lots of chatter and a live band. The food was AWESOME!!! Crab cakes and the Parmesan & Crab Encrusted Fish of the Day were cooked perfectly and seasoned well without being overly salty!

From the time we walked in the door , we were displeased. The hostess asked how many and then, ran off without saying anything. We were seated at a table with bugs and dirt trapped between a glass top and a white tablecloth. There was dirt and dust on most places I looked. The o.j. was not even drinkable. The food was actually pretty good and not terribly priced, but cleanliness is a huge issue for this restaurant.

Cozy yet fun. I felt food was quite good. I had the shrimp quesadilla, and fish and chips. Price was on par with quality. Not pricey at all. Appetizer, 2 generous dinners, 2 beers, 52.00. Trio entertaining were actually quite good and fun. All around great experience.

Service was great. The waitress always came back to make sure everything is fine. My drink was refilled without even asking. There was live music which made the room much more lovelier.

I ordered the seared sea scallops. It's my first time eating fresh big scallops. Luckily, the entree came with a simple salad. The seared sea scallops and pasta were tossed in garlic creamy sauce. It went well with the butternut squash.

Everytime I visit Savannah I make sure to eat at Driftaway. Our server, Bridgett, was great. I asked her to order for me and she picked out the chicken biscuit, which was delicious. My mother had the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes, which were divine. All in all, an excellent meal with amazing service.
