Have eaten here previously with no complaints. The last time was no up to my expectations. The french fries were cool on arrival. Our server was no where to be found. We finally stoppes another server who took the fries back but left the shrimp. By the time we got hor fries we had finished the shrimp. As we were leaving my wife complained to a hostess who showed no real concern.

Nice menu selection, whether lunch or dinner. Brunch menu is limited but you can also order from regular menu. Staff is always friendly and engaging. I always enjoy a visit to Tubby's Thunderbolt

I'm not a seafood eater so I can't comment on that but I've been to Tubby's many time over the years I've lived in Thunderbolt. Their menu has changed recently and I don't think they offer as many items as they used to. I've had good food and not-so good food in my visits there so maybe it depends on who is cooking the food on a given night. I enjoy the music and the atmosphere, but sadly, they lost the beautiful view they once had due to the building of condos across the street.

Was working in Savanna for about 9 months and can honestly say this was the best find for a great place to eat,hang out with some locals and just a welcoming experience. Liked the catch of the day menu as it was different every day based on what was caught earlier. Been a while since I have been but if it hasn't changed I recommend it to anyone. Hope this helps the weary travelers and the locals as well. Look foward to coming back because of this place!!

Searched for seafood place but with easy parking while leaving Tybee Island. Signage led me to Tubby's. Great food- "oyster platter" and service with a smile. Oysters cooked just right. Enjoyed it and will return. I really liked this place!

This use to be one of my favorite restaurants, not anymore. Went there for my birthday dinner back in July. The food was tepid, the service was lacking. Waitress knew that I was dissatisfied, she didn't even comp my dessert. I have tried to get in touch with the manager, had no luck there. Just excuses, she even gave me an incomplete email address. Reached out on fb, no reply. So finally I gave up. Good chance that I will not return & I will warn others to stay away.

The food is great! Love the grilled salmon salad. McKenna was our waitress - very attentive, fast, and fun! Will definitely return over and over.

Wow, fantastic! It was well worth the trip over. Service was awesome and the low country boil was some of the best I've ever had. If I'm ever in the area again I will certainly return. Thanks for the great service Robin, you guys were great!

I got the All You Can Eat Crab Legs Special with fried corn, fried asparagus, and potatoes. The asparagus was an appetizer. The crabs came with garlic butter dipping sauce. The staff was friendly. The food was great. I recommend this place for anyone looking for food seafood in Savannah or Thunderbolt.

The service is wonderful and the food just as good. They are very accommodating and the view outside is great. On a visit today the chicken was not thoroughly cooked when I showed the waitress she decided to tell me the bone was suppose to be like that it was the bone. I fry chicken all the time it was not done all the way. Plus i trust i would know what a bone looks like.

Lauren was our serververy hospitable..I ordered fried scallops they were delicious..also order the grouper which came out and low and behold it was actually black Sea bass..so a little disappointed..corrected with a tuna steak which was quite a bountiful cut..good save!!!!

Great location, nice facility. Food is pretty good, and they have brunch with mimosas on weekends! Also good place for small business resource meetings!

Food is always good. Some of the best fried shrimp and oysters in town. It used to smell kinda funny here but they just remodeled in the bar area so it's much more pleasant. The food is good and that's why I come here but be aware the service is always slack. Very unattentative servers so be prepared to wait.

Food was delicious! Wasn't too busy & was cozy. We went on a Thursday night & they had a band out on the patio which was cool. Definitely going back to hangout.
