Best crab chowder, Cajun pasta, shrimp and grits, and parmesan grouper. Good beer selection, great Moscow mules. Friendly and hilarious staff. Food came quickly. Not too pricey. Lots of history and culture in the building it self. Relaxed and casual feel. It's a great place to hang out no matter if its with family, business meeting, first date, bachlorette party, single party on 1, guys night out, etc
I’m not really sure if I was even here. I was in Savannah for four days and drunk for five. My phone says I was here. I think I like this place because they served alcohol and I drank it. I really wasn’t drunk. I was just maintaining a status quo. When in Rome don’t you know. As far as I know this place is quintessential Savannah. It is in town, haunted and serves alcohol daily. It is near the Pirate house and River street. I think I was in a cemetery either before or after I was here. I saw several trolley tours and I’m sure one of them will bring you here, or not, or close enough to walk the rest of the way. Watch out for the cobblestone streets. I’m a man in regular shoes and wondered how a lady in hells would ever make it. Best wishes to all and happy drinking.
I ordered the sweet potato waffle fries and it came with brown sugar butter. Freaking amazing!
My entrée was the shrimp and grits and the grits were delicious, probably the best I've had.
Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!
Appetizer suggestion: Hot Bread and Cheese -- #Delicious! I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with French Fries, and it was very good--came with onions and peppers; not too greasy, but a great flavor. Will was our waiter and he did an outstanding job. We sat upstairs, which was definitely colder than downstairs. We will definitely return in the future.
My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised. The food was good and ample. The sweet tea and our dessert was delicious.
I recommend it now and I would love to come back.
The gyro salad was off the charts good. I came in with a party of 7 more, and everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. Definitely glad we tried this restaurant during our brief visit in Savannah.
Enjoyed the fried green tomato BLT sandwich and the home made coleslaw. Also enjoyed the peach cobbler dessert - I want to go back there just for that. It was neat to eat in one of the historic buildings along the riverfront.
Great food!! Not over fried or greasy. We had chicken fingers and fried shrimp and a tuna burger. All very delicious. Very reasonably priced for such a prime tourist location. They also have a very inexpensive nice kids manu with very generous size portions. The service was very friendly and fast.
Mini vacation with my twin sister and adult son in Hilton Head and went exploring in Savannah Googled restaurants and this menu looked appealing so decided to try it. What a GREAT choice!! Jenn was our server (FANTASTIC 😋) incredibly knowledgeable about the local brewery choices, as well as menu offerings she provided free samples of items she thought we might be interested in. Our thanks to the Chef everything was "out of this world" delicious (Cajun tortellini) and servings guaranteed you were taking something home! Don't miss out on this one! We will definitely be returning.
Best fried scallops I have ever had, they are massive. Fair prices. Good bartenders. We bring all out-of-town visitors here.
Was gonna go to pirate house until we realized they only do the buffet for lunch so we last second started looking places up and everywhere we called said it would be a 1-3 hr wait. But cotton exchange said 45 min so we decided to try it out, and were very impressed. We got there at 9 o'clock and they said it'll be a 20 min wait wich was amazing seeing how everyone else said hours but some how we walked out stuffed and ready for a nap at 10 o'clock on the dot. Incredibly fast service and friendly staff and great food. Deff a place u should check out if your in Savannah and everyone else is packed
I stopped here at dinnertime in late Feb. 2017. It's an attractive restaurant and the bar was a nice place to sit and spend an hour. Looking for an early and light dinner, I ordered crab chowder, which was super good and a bit spicy, and an appetizer of New Orleans shrimp wrapped in bacon. Great food! I would certainly go back to this restaurant.
I ordered the blackened pork chops with sweet potato fries and slaw. It was delicious! My husband ordered the grouper fingers. The bragging was light and the fish was yummy. He enjoyed it very much. We'd recommend this restaurant.
I had the blackened fish with grilled shrimp. Not to spicy, cooked well and tasted great. My wife had the fried shrimp plate. They were very good also. The onion soup and crab dip were great. Overall this joint is highly recommended. It is kid friendly as well. My 2YO did fine at the table in a high chair.
