Love the ambiance at their bar. There's oyster happy hour - Sunday & Monday 5-10pm, other nights 5-7pm. He did a good job shucking the 4 dozen fresh oysters that we shared! Can't wait to be back when there's live music!

Great lounge with a band, bar and pool table. The food selection is limited but good, great wines. Friendly and helpful staff. All in all, we spent a great evening there.

We stayed overnight at this hotel while visiting family in NY. It's got such a fantastic vibe and the decor is really cool. Before going out to dinner we grabbed some drinks and appetizers at the Roxy bar which unfortunately turned out to be an underwhelming experience. While the musical entertainment (live piano) was great the service was less than impressive. We probably waited 40 minutes for our oysters to come out due to a printer issue back in the kitchen. Our waiter did his best to apologize and make up for it with a free round of drinks but the damage was done. On the positive side our room was cute and the beds were comfy. Minimal noise from the outside bar could be heard in the room which we were thankful for. W sorry well The next morning we grabbed coffee at Jacks which was quite good. Overall we had a very positive experience at the hotel minus one small issue at the bar. Recommend!

Came here on 2 occasions- after dinner drinks and brunch. Both were well planned and managed by the team in the restaurant/lounge area. I would get dessert here- raspberry ganache was to die for. The cheesecake was NY style and that was great too. The place looks like any other lounge after dark, but for brunch, it comes together really well, with the architecture and layout. Staff were very helpful putting things together for us

What a great experience. The staff where never ending with good mornings and goodbyes. Always with a smile on their faces.
The rooms were cleaned like clockworks daily.
And the main attraction the jaz bar was fantastic to sit back and listen on the daily. Bit of a shame the cinema wasn’t showing anything but all in all it was a great experience.
I also think the bathrooms needed vents, it got crazy hot in there with the shower on.

I have had three wonderful experiences at the Roxy in the past few months.
Aside from the general vibe of the place suiting my disposition, I have also become quit fond of Anthony and Patrick at the door. Aside from being helpful, Anthony is particularly funny!
Sami is an All-Star operator and the staff that works with him share the professional attention to detail and welcoming vibe that has me returning, often.

Outstanding service. The folks here are over the top. They always ask appropriate ice breaker questions, they have great suggestions for local food, drink and sights. They make reservations and arrange rides. They do their best to accommodate any request. And they do it with genuine care and commitment to service. The location is convenient to subway and eating and is just in a cool spot. And the space itself is super sexy, rooms are nice and clean, tons of amenities including dedicated coffee shop, restaurant, bar, movie theatre and jazz club. Top marks.

Great place to stay for music lovers. Great musicians each night in the lounge as well as a jazz club in the basement. Our room even had a turntable and a great selection of records! Excellent food & service too

The Roxy Hotel was the perfect venue for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding on April 2, 2017. The rooms were lovely, and our suites were perfect for the bridal party. We cannot thank the entire Roxy staff (especially Nell, our coordinator, and Lee, our housekeeper) enough for their professionalism and the attention that was given to us as well as our out of town guests. From the live music and oysters in the lounge to the unforgettable party in The Django Jazz Club, a memorable weekend for us all. I give The Roxy my highest recommendation, and hope to visit again soon!

The Roxy is in a great location and very clean. The bar downstairs (Django) has an extensive list of amazing cocktails and live music. The atmosphere is smart casual with a hint of mid century flair. Would definitely recommend for a late night meeting or date.

We had a great family stay. The hotel has a good vibe and location. Excellent cafes and restaurants are close by. The hotel's lounge, including the nightly jazz, the bar and even the pool table, made it a great place to retreat to after a day out. Special shout out to Sal, the Guest Relations Manager, for his great advice and service.

A wonderful return to the 414 Hotel! Susan and her team are so very welcoming and helpful. The daily newsletter is full of great suggestions. We all had such a relaxing stay and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the lobby with a glass of wine after a days sightseeing.

My favorite place to stay in NYC. The Roxy Oozes Style. Everything about this place is fantastic. During check-in we received a hot towel and a glass of champagne at the counter. I've never experienced this at a hotel. It's a smart way for them to make their customers feel special. The rooms are small but very nice and stylish. The art direction of The Roxy is art deco meets a bit of industrial. From the carpet to the light fixtures, every detail has personality. It's the antithesis of a sterile Hilton. The best feature is the is bar/restaurant, that is the base of the eleven story common area. It's a gorgeous place to sip a craft cocktail or have a bite. Be prepared for a stiff bill though. Two people having a couple drinks each with a meat and cheese board will cost you a Franklin. Bottom line is this has become my favorite place to stay in NYC.
