EXCELLENT location, awesome price. Room was very small if you care about that, which I don't. If you're the kind of person who uses words like "dated decor" this place is probably not for you. I would detonated stay here again if I'm ever back in NYC! An awesome plus was that they"ll hold your bags after check out for $2 a bag so you can spend the rest of the day out and about without lugging around your luggage!

Tinest room I’ve ever been in. Wow. I know NYC hotel rooms are small but this takes the cake. One foot around the bed and that’s itIf you’re staying multiple night this will be very cramped. There was a hole in our bathroom ceiling, missing tile, dirty shower. Long black hair on our bed sheet. The decor is creepy.
Beds are comfy and staff was okay but I would definitely spend the extra $30-$50 to stay someplace nicer if you’re planning multiple nights.
Disappointing for such a good location to all the touristy things in midtown. Expected a lot more.
Do yourself a favor and get out the the midtown congestion and stay downtown or uptown.

Nice hotel for the price. Elevator is very small and slow (like you can only fit 2 people comfortably). Front desk staff was very nice and friendly.

The Location of the Hotel is Great and the beds are very cosy. You haven't got. a view out of the room.

BUT be careful: the reception guys are helpful and friendly.butWe asked them to help us with Transport to JFK and they totally told us the wrong price and Charged us too much money in cash. The driver from the airlink transport told us that we have to pay again.

Not very upscale. Location is prime next to Times Square. Rooms are small, but clean and sufficiently furnished. Bathrooms are clean, although water pressure in the shower was very low. Service was very prompt and friendly. Definitely recommend as a great option for saving a little money over other area hotels for a trip to Manhattan, but if money is no object there will definitely be nicer, more modern options.

Great location, really liked the attached restaurant/bar, and check in/out went smoothly. Rooms are quite small but good value and the A/C worked fine. Decent bed and pillows but no real view, not expected though. Rooms had "modern" faucets that are the most wasteful fixtures I have ever seen, they probably use 10x the amount of water necessary especially with no aerator.

Very simple room in an older building. Not exactly luxurious but exceptionally well located. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would return here if I need a budget hotel in Manhattan.

Great hotel for the price. Comfortable beds, clean room, the room is a small European style room, but it's a couple blocks from everything in Time Square and Broadway so didn't plan on staying in the room much in this trip anyway. Will stay here again when I come back.

It was a comfy place to sleep, bed and bathroom were clean, and it's walking distance to Time Square and Hell's Kitchen. Room was small with a full sized bed. The a/c worked thank goodness but it was loud. I think the only reason I slept through the noise was because I was drunk. Sitting on the toilet and the wall touches the front of my knees- and I'm only 5 feet tall. The shower door didn't close unless you lift the door up because it's little crooked. The carpets in the entire place is dated, very worn and some spots torn from so much foot traffic.

Excellent location, extremely friendly and helpful staff for us tourists. The room was small but absolutely charming. I loved the older ambience. My only complaint was that my daughter and I both woke up with bug bits all over our bodies. :(

beautiful hotel! it has lots of things to do near it and people were caring, kind and talkative they also have hispanic speakers and they can hold your luggage if you need it. Small but perfect for your stay in the big apple! Bedrooms had everything we needed! i totally recommend it!!!!

Incredibly nice location. It is a old worn-out hotel, but it has it's charm. Small rooms with a bed is all you need i NYC. Could have been nice with a fridge, we really missed this for our breakfast yogurt and juice. I mean it is a rather expensive area to eat out 3 times a day. Hotel room was OK clean, bathroom could use an extra hard cleaning soon though. Staff seemed fine and friendly, but I KID YOU NOT the day we were checking out, it smelled like weed from behind the front desk or office backroom. Really weird, but we didn't care, you might.

Fantastic location. All of our Broadway shows were withing walking distance, as well as all of the shopping and food available in Times Square. The inside of the hotel is charming; it's like stepping into a time machine. We had trouble with our room keys multiple times, but it wasn't a huge inconvenience. The wallpaper and drapes were a bit overwhelming at first, but the room was definitely memorable. The beds are comfortable as well, and the staff were fairly pleasant.
