Awesome stay. Most courteous team I have encountered at any hotel. We will be back.Thank you very much Team Redmont!
The experience at the Redmont was quite pleasant. It felt great to be in such a beautiful and historic place and right in the center of downtown Birmingham. I highly recommend it as a locale for other groups to consider for their events.

I give it 3 stars based on history & accommodations, but you get WAY more bang for your buck at less expensive hotels. It was $375 for one night because of a football game in town & there isn't even a fridge in the room. You also pay $2 per egg, $3 per muffin for breakfast etc. I was afraid to drink the "in room" bottled water for fear they would charge us for that too. Also our card was charged, not put on "hold" the night we arrived, although we specifically said we wanted to pay cash. "Oh, you can just tell them in the morning when you check out & they will credit it back for you." I feel like she didn't want to make the effort. Wouldn't stay here again, unfortunately.
Service is absolutely WONDERFUL.
And while we didn't take the fullest advantage of all of the amenities and services offered, that which we did in fact experience, instills us with enough confidence to say that all of their features should, by consistency, be just as good as those which we did.
Great bar and bartender but it wasn't stocker with some basics like vermouth. Also, the old fashioned kind of sucked because it was super fruity and you couldn't even taste the bourbon. An old fashioned should not be a very fruity drink and the focus should be the bourbon
The rooftop bar is great for relaxing after work or a jazzy night out with friends. The atmosphere is chic and there is a great backdrop of the city for pics! The bar menu leaves a bit to be desired. I'd like to fun, specialty cocktails.
So far.it's not a luxury hotel. It's very old and the amenities are lacking of a true luxury hotel. No room service after 11
Can't get food ordered at the roof top baryou can go downstairs and get food and bring it up yourselfbut no way to get it to the bar unless you physically go get it. What?
$390 a night and the coffee machine doesn't work in the room? So now I have to physically get dressed and answer the door for coffee, or, I go get it down stairs. So far the wait has been 10 minutes for coffee and that doesn't count the time messing with the machine.
Everyone has a smile on. That doesn't make up for the amenities, but it's that southern charm that make it easier to handle. So the 3 stars would be a 5if it wasn't for the things that could take yhis over the topcome on Hiltondo better. Great people .just fix the things you can do to make it more efficient and a better experience.
Everything was perfect in regards to the service. The only reason for the 4 star was because of a large yellow jacket nest right outside our window. The bed was comfortable, the staff excellent and ALWAYS smiling and happy! Would definitely stay here again!
The room was nicer than your average hotel in my opinion. It's near basically everything if you are coming to Birmingham on business. Plus, all staff members that I interfaced with were pleasant and helpful. You can definitely tell that it has gone through extensive renovations as some of it still seems somewhat dated, but I would definitely stay there again.
Great little hotel. Love me these Curio collection hotels. The only issue is nothing was open within the walking distance of this hotel. Really wished there was more to the neighborhood then this would be higher star rating.
Room / food / service are superb and of 5 star caliber. I'd recommend this hotel for any business travel.
Access was easy. The remodeling looks very nice on the interior, and there is ample space on the exterior. The service was fine, but the seating was sort of uncomfortable. Also, there was only low-seating, with the only high seating at the bar. Some high tables near the view would be nice. Overall, very enjoyable, and will go back.
I just want to start off by saying it was one of the friendliest and most accommodating hotels we have stayed in. .The staff was exceptional!! Carlton and the other valet staff, along with the bellmen that helped us to and from our room were amazing and pleasant to be around. When my grandson cut his leg on the coffee table the staff was right there to assist and took care of the piece that was sticking out that cut him! Even the police officer that was there ordering his breakfast took the time out to talk to us and engage in a conversation with my grandsons. I wish all hotels had the staff you have. I would recommend the Redmont to anyone visiting Birmingham☺️
We had a strange experience there and I cannot thank the staff enough for all their help. Carlton was amazing and deserves an award for how much he helped me. A manager that was there, Nicole was also amazing and instrumental in helping me tonight in my time of need. I literally will never be able to repay them for all their assistance and I hope they know how incredibly grateful I am. Thank you again guys and let me know if I can send you a gift card or something!
