Staff are friendly and helpful but a lot of road noise gets through the thin walls here. The bathroom toiletries are a very low quality and the towels feel like sandpaper. Does the job, I suppose but I wouldn't stay again.

It's in a great quite location not far from lots of great dinning, court house and stores. Beds were very comfortable. They also allow early check in.

Just what we needed! Nothing fancy, but clean comfortable rooms, good parking, friendly and helpful staff and a lovely little sundeck to enjoy a few bevvies on before heading out. The free bike rental was also a lovely perk and we had a great little ride down to the marina on them.

It's a fairly old motel that has been tastefully remodeled with simple and modern furnishings. Our room was clean and airy, the bathroom sufficient with a fridge at one end and hanging space for clothes. There is no closet and no locking place for valuables if that bothers you - it might be that the office has a place to lock things. Although there isn't really a view the outdoor deck area is nice with some comfy lounging furniture.

The motel has bikes you can borrow to get around - I think you need to bring you own lock and helmet but that's a nice and convenient feature for a place like SB which is bike friendly. We enjoyed the 2 mile (each way) walk all the way down to the beach and along to the harbor - you'll catch many, many restaurants, bars and shops on the way and back.

My only slight ding is it's on a street that has a decent amount of traffic and you'll hear the traffic and neighbors arriving at night and leaving in the morning if they make any noise which includes dragging their roller luggage across the wooden decks. So wear earplugs if you're a light sleeper but that applies to almost all motels IMO.

Otherwise no complaints at all - the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are cleaner and better quality than chain motels of similar price. Had some issues with our door lock that caused issues, but overall had a good experience.

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant staff, and free bike rentals! The only downfall was the walls were super thin. I would definitely stay again though!

Rooms are nice enough. Don't be put off by the word "motel", these rooms are very clean and nice. Complimentary bikes are a definite plus but they can only be checked out from 8am-7pm. Bathroom is much bigger than expected. Wifi is free.

I stayed here overnight for a short weekend getaway and it was perfect! The staff was extremely friendly, thrrr was free parking onsite and we could rent out beach cruisers for no extra charge whenever we wanted! The rooms were clean and modern, and it was very close to downtown. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Santa Barbara.

Look, it's not the Hilton, but we found it to be very pleasant and clean! The staff were appropriately welcoming and helpful, and the location matched what we were looking for. Enjoy your trip!

Great boutique motel in a great location. We stayed for two nights on our road trip. The beds were comfortable and we had a good sleep.
The free parking was a massive bonus and the great location at the top of State Street meant we didn't use the car at all during our stay in Santa Barbara. It was a pleasant 30 min walk to the pier along the towns main road.

Pleasantly surprised at how clean and new looking it is. Nice high vaulted ceilings. Windows are super thin and guests were rowdy and drinking outside but it didn't get too late. Door is super finicky. Curtain has a stain and moth holed. Not a bad place and definitely one of the nicer motels I've stayed in but could use a little more updating and maintenance.
