  Wonderful place to stay! We were in the Hayloft and it rained the entire time we were there. It was a restful stay in a most lovely room. Great amenities and staff. We would highly recommend Simpson House Inn!

  We stayed three nights in January. We wanted some R and R and found just what we wanted in the Julia and Robert Simpson room. The wraparound veranda overlooks the gardens of the property. Very good sized room on the first floor. The house is over 100 years old and has been restored beautifully

  Service was above excellent. Linens were noticeably soft. This is not a four seasons resort but if you're looking for a small inn that is cozy and traditional then this is a great spot. The room was great and the food was fine. Great fireplace to sit by in the main room and a very nice veranda.

  In a word, "thoughtful." The staff was always on top of their game, the location was amazing, and oh-my-God, the food was incredible! Hors d'oeuvres and wine tasting in the evenings and delicious breakfast (better than any restaurant around), and they'll even bring it up to your room for no extra charge. They always leave nice notes and relevant quotes from famous authors on little slips of paper, whether it's parchment tied to your morning newspaper or a card folded on your nightstand wishing you sweet dreams.
  
  We stayed in the Sun Room, a delightful and quaint upper house room with its own balcony, overlooking the entire property. It was nice exploring the grounds with a glass of wine, and anywhere you sat down, you were greeted with the relaxing sound of gentle fountains.
  
  All in all, 10/10 and I can't wait for my next visit.
