The food was great! Very popular place. Waited a long time. We were told it would be 15 minutes but it was 30. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and reached over my baby with the coffee pot to refill our coffee. They would have better service with more waitstaff.

We love this place. It's one of our favorite brunch places in Charlotte after Sunday church.
I have yet to have a bad meal here. My favorite is chorizo omelette. We have tried most of the dishes here. Their egg Benedict especially the spicy one is also just awesome.
The staff is always friendly and prompt.
The only price of being this good is that there usually is a long line especially during weekend brunch hours. But it is worth the wait.

The food is great. Pancakes are fluffy and have options for those who don't eat pork. Customer service is good, but it is very busy. Depending on the number of people you have and the seating available, the seating could be a little tight. The parking is a little difficult to navigate but the wait for the food isn't too bad.

No wait time. Menu offered a lot of food choices.Orders taken and food arrived promptly correctly & more importantly GOOD and hot.4 star given only because waitress was not friendly at all. I always leave nice tips. Not today! I would still go back just hope I don't have her as my waitress

The food was very good! We had pancakes, sausage and eggs. The service, however, was terrible. The waitress was only seen when she ordered our food and then when she brought it. She didn't check on us once, and I had hair in my food. By the time we saw her and called her over I didn't even want to get a new plate of food. Basically, the food is good if you can handle bad service

I really love this place. Brings back so many memories of my childhood. I really like taking my family here for a late breakfast. The wait is crazy on the weekends but fairly minimal throughout the week. I love the pancakes especially with strawberries, love the omelets, and the fact that they try to add some new items that are trending in the food world. I do not recommend the salads because they're pretty plain and overpriced. The only reason why it gets four stars instead of five is because it is a bit pricey and they always charge my toddlers drink as an adult beverage and I feel like that is way overpriced.

Always good food, and probably the best thick bacon served at any chain breakfast restaurant. Blintzes are as good as one can find outside of NYC. French Press Coffee is always good, but regular American coffee is either watery or burnt. Staff is usually extremely friendly, work very hard, and deserve ample tips. Expect a wait on weekends.

Looking for a place to kill your sweet tooth? This is the place. Get your strawberry pancakes and I assure that you won't be able to eat the whole meal.

Excellent service Charlette (the waitress) was amazing and very knowledgeable of the menu. The atmosphere was homey like. Happy to see all the smiles. The food OMG wonderful!

When we arrived there were a lot of people waiting outside, but we really wanted to go here. The hostess said "15 minute wait" but it probably was only 10 minute wait. The food was excellent. The potato pancake and salami were delicious. Lots of food for the money. Service was quick and friendly. No complaints, I can't wait to go back.

Located close to center city. The food is great and I especially like their breakfast potatoes though normally I don't like potatoes these are sine of the few I make exception for. To me all the food is good, reliable in taste with no unexpected surprises. For some people that may be a dissapointment, when it comes to breakfast I'm not in search for creative food.
Because of the location, moderate prices, and good tasting food the place frequently during breakfast hours will have a line to be seated. In my experience the line moves fast and most if the people you see in front of you will probably e in groups. If you have concerns about waiting you can always check with host person and they can give you a fairly good idea of to seat.
If you can not wait I think the food is good enough that perhaps you could come back at another time when you have more abundance.response / report this review
