Food was overcooked. Potato chips were tasteless. Onion rings were more bread and onion service. Service very slow. Delivery guys were opening and closing the back door letting all the cold air in while we were eating. Changing rugs. Cuban sandwich was so over cook said you couldn’t eat the ends of the sandwich because it was hard. However they do have large portions.
Ordered a salad with chicken and no tomatoes and we got a salad with tomatoes and chicken on the side

This is my second visit to Vidalia. Had the chicken and waffles. Delicious! Didn't really need a reservation, but I hear normally you do.

Where else can you get sweet potato waffles with chicken raised in your backyard? It comes with whisky-infused maple syrup too. Seriously amazing!

The managers there are honestly not the nicest they think they are the bosses i mean they think they own the place. Never ever ever going there again I will let my friends here in in Boone know. To stay away the help there is great just needs different management thays all.

Excellent food! It's reasonably priced at lunch and for Sunday brunch, though dinner is a bit expensive. The everything is always fresh and well-prepared, and it's a clean, relaxing atmosphere.

The food here is great! It is the perfect mix between a artsy food restaurant and regular food. The portions were great and everything tasted fresh. The only down side was the service was a little slow, but other than that I can't complain!

Unique food with friendly service. Very interesting takes on common classics. Servers are helpful with recommendations as it's difficult to decide here. Love the use of pickled pine and corn cookies!!

We ate at this restaurant 3 years ago. The food was affordably priced and delicious!
We have a habit of showing up towards closing time due to our outdoor adventures. The staff was friendly and food was fresh.

I had the burger and my girlfriend had pasta. The next night we returned. She had the burger and I had the pasta.

It was one of the best dinning experiences I have had in recent years!

I'm a real foodie. I was astonished how good the food was in this small town. The chef really cares and it shows. I'm lactose intolerant but they are always accomadating. The complaints about the staff are ridiculous. Yes college kids but they are always nice. Last time we were in town we are there 4 out of five nights. If you are near this place and want to eat at a place where they care about the quality of the food go! The salads are large and delicious. Never had a bad meal there. Last night had the catfish and it was DELICIOUS!

Quite disappointed. If you love southern cooking, it's fine. Nobody, of the five of us were impressed.

Our absolute favorite Boone restaurant! My husband and I have visited since it began as a small quaint place. Love to see the growth! Now it looks like a patio will be added for an additional dining option. The food is simply PERFECTION on a plate! I do recommend a reservationif not I promise it is worth the wait!

I was only at the bar. Bar tender was incredibly friendly. Made good suggestions based on my wine preferences. Nice atmosphere, will try the food next time I'm in town.
