We are just finishing up our stay at the Mt. Washington Bed & Breakfast. Mary Anne was so gracious to open up her Bed & Breakfast for a free nights stay for military veterans and there family during the Veterans Day weekend. We were greeted with a huge warm smile and given a brief but informative tour of the facility. Our room was a cozy but spacious room with a very comfortable King size bed. We had a very spacious private bathroom and for an 1800 farmhouse we we very warm and comfortable all night. I awoke briefly to the distance sound of the train climbing through the mountain and the sound of raining lightly dancing off the roof but fell back to sleep in the comfortable and cozy bed. We awake to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and the most delicious breakfast. Mary Anne is a very vibrant and friendly Inn Keeper and treated us with the utmost respect. I would recommend a stay here in this beautiful 1800’s B&B. Kevin

Didn't have a room. Just stopped there for the view for a minute. But the place looks comfy.

My mom and I felt as if staying here was like staying at grandma's house. Comfy and honey.

This is an historic inn, very homey, and decorated with antiques and handmade pieces, including beautiful quilts made by the innkeeper, Mary Ann. We don't need a television or a coffee maker in our room so it was perfect for us. The room was clean. The king size bed was great -- best night's sleep we've had in a long time. We could see the sun set over Mt Washington from our window. The bathroom fixtures were updated and the bathroom was big. The breakfast was great. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and the coffee was delicious. Mary Ann makes a mean Amaretto French Toast, and excellent eggs. She let us stay past our check-out time so we could sneak in a hike before heading out. This was a great discovery!

Thus place was fantastic! We came up on Labor day weekend. The price was fair and the inn keeper was amazing! This is about 15 minutes away from the auto road up Mt. Washington.
