I need more than five stars to describe how perfect this place is! First off the owners are amazing! The VIEW and of coarse location, location, location! Super clean, BEYOND
Homey. Coffee and treats in the morning. Our experience is of course during Laconia and we meet the nicest people that stay in this house with us! Our BEST memories are HERE! This porch OMG! I have my coffee (that they percolate) on the front porch woth yummy muffins every AM. Then I take a run (the location is perfect) take a hot shower, Get dressed sit on the porch they have a great pool! I will only EVER stay here! And I don’t want to brag anymore because I cannot let her be booked for 2018 :)response / report this review -

I'm born and raised in the lakes region but don't live here now. So I always stay here when I come to visit. Very reasonably priced, cute rooms, very cozy homey place, staff is great, and you can't beat the location and views. Highly recommended.

My Husband and are loving our stay at Cottage 2. Very cozy and clean! Great get a way for 2 people. Small kitchenette with Pots, pans, silverware provided. Bathroom is a little tight, we recommend bringing trial size toiletries. Screened in porch is a plus!!! They have a gas grill not a charcoal as shown in the picture. The staff is very friendly and do their best to keep it clean and we definitely give ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. We can't wait to come back again!!!

Just returned Aug 1 2017- my 4th visit in 40 yrs. Its changed owners but still has unbeatable charm! Its been updated as well, and the location is just the best! Its NOT FANCY nor MODERN, but reasonable and cleandid I mention the location and VIEWS??????

I just want people to know exactly what they're paying for. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the house was very clean, the view was beautiful, housekeeping was prompt with providing clean towels. This place would be good to stay for just a night.
We rented a room here because we thought it would be cheaper for a nice place but in my humble opinion, it isn't worth the price. We paid for a double room at the Cozy Inn promising a view and short walk to the beach. When we got to the Cozy Inn, there was a sign telling us that we would be staying at the Lakeview house up the hill instead, which was kinda sketch. The "double room" is very, very tiny, with only one fullsized bed. Your bathroom isn't shared with one other room, but every other guest staying in the house, where the owners live as well. Altogether there are two showers and three toilets but you have a sink in your room. This is more like a room share, only you don't have access to the kitchen. The parking is terrible, in my opinion, the designated lot was rutty and you had to maneuver around a bit ole pothole. The room is up three flights of stairs with no elevator. From 11:30pm to 8:30am, there is "quiet time" but more accurately it's about 10pm to 10am because that's when they turn off the wifi. The free breakfast is old lookin muffins and they shut off the coffee pot at 11am. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away. The Lakeview house also has you wear a bright, yellow band on your wrist with their name printed on it, which tells everyone you're a tourist and basically makes you a target.
I wouldn't recommend this place only because for the same price you could find something much more convenient, with more privacy, your own bathroom, and a much bigger room.response / report this review -

We stayed in a private room with private bathroom called the bungalow. It was run down little shack but the price was relatively reasonable for the area and we could cook in the kitchenette. View of the lake from outside the door is beautiful though

No AC in the second bedroom and a lousy mattress. Second bedroom and futon only good for children. AC was not running when we arrived, so we were very hot for the first few hours with sweat running down side of head. Resort is in a very congested area which you cannot tell from the pictures. It is NOT 350' feet from the beach!
We were also informed "muffins are for guests who do not have kitchenettes". Whaaat?!
Would not return there. It was not that inexpensive so I do not feel it was a good value.response / report this review
