Ordered flowers for my girlfriend in Baltimore (I am in Jersey). She got the GORGEOUS flowers on time in a vase with ribbon tied in beautiful bows around it as well. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and the handwritten note they did (although I told them what to write) was perfect. Will definitely shop from them again! Maybe I'll stop in next time! :)

Small custom order, one lapel flower, delivered on short notice and I wanted to be different and colorful. That was about the extent of the instructions. Libby deliver a fabulous creation, it was a hit at the event. And at a reasonable price! Well done!

I had ordered a bouquet of flowers on February 5 to be delivered to my girlfriend on Valentine's Day. I called to change the location of delivery the morning of Valentine's Day, but was assured they would still make it to her house before the day was done. They did not arrive.

I called the following morning to figure out what happened, and Libby informed me that they didn't get dispatched, and that they owned their mistake, and would be sending them out that day (Feb. 15). In order to alleviate some of the frustration, Libby said that a box of chocolates would be given to my girlfriend as well.

I spoke to my girlfriend when the flowers arrived, but no chocolates were given. The delivery person indicated that they would be sent to her at a later time (mail or delivery, wasn't specified). Today is March 1. There are still no chocolates.

I do not recommend using this florist. While my girlfriend enjoyed the bouquet, the experience was poor and the lack of communication was frustrating. I had to call to find out what happened to my order, instead of the florist (who knew they missed the delivery) calling me to inform me of what happened.

I understand that mistakes happen. However, this situation was handled very poorly, and that's why I'm giving the Modest Florist a poor rating.

This place came highly recommended from a friend of mine so I expected to be pleased with my experience but however, I am extremely disappointed. My daughters prom is coming up and I sent her here to have a corsage made to match her prom dress. After a few minutes she came out with a disheartening look on her face because the woman told her (at 3 in the afternoon btw) that she was "technically closed" and that she "wasnt feeling up to making any corsage's today" So then my daughter asked her when would she be able to make one for her and the woman told her "Im not sure, Im just not the right person to be asking about that today but the Giant will have some corsage's already made." Im really pissed because why are your store hours until 6 but yet you say you are closed and then proceed to say you are not feeling making anything today..so then why are you even open at all?? Makes no sense to me and I will never again visit this florist shop and I encourage you not to either. Very disappointing and unprofessional to say the least.

Love to stop by with my favorite vase and watch Libby make a beautiful arrangement. She sources her flowers locally and can provide you with great advice, and native plants, for your garden. Her flowers outlive, and are prices lower than, arrangements from 'upscale' florists that have their product shipped in from other countries. Stop in, you wont be dissappointed.
