I really expected a better service I ordered a deluxe bouquet (the middle between the cheapest and the most expensive version of a flower composition), with delivery for 12/1. Deluxe is pricey, but it looked like it was worth it. Got an invoice on a Saturday morning that delivery date was 11/28, panicked that they got it wrong, started calling the store to make sure flowers would be delivered on 12/1 as ordered, but no one was answering the phone. I get that officially your store is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but you created the invoice on your day off with a wrong date and no way for me to contact you?? Realized no one would pick up and wrote an email. 12/1 was a Tuesday and NO ONE felt it was necessary to contact me back at all (even on a working Monday) to simply make sure the things were right/wrong and to confirm the dates. At the end, flowers were delivered on the correct date. I felt there was no customer care at all. And the flowers on the website look much better than what was delivered.
For $115 dollar order I, as a customer, was not taken care of when the store made a date mistake on the invoice, my calls and an email were not replied to, and the flowers delivered were not worth the price I paid. Very disappointed.

Update as of 2/8/20: I wanted to mention that no one contacted me despite the owner's answer to my review.

Highly recommend. I sent a beautiful plant to a new hire to make her feel welcome even though COVID means the team is not physically together. Same day delivery and a great product. Plus, I love to support local businesses!

I received a beautiful bouquet from a friend. The arrangement is exquisite and the delivery process was done with utmost of care. The driver called to say he was leaving it at the door; SO respectful especially during this pandemic. Highly recommend Flowers by Chris!!

Stopped in looking for a planter for a succulent and was helped by a very sweet saleswoman named Jodie! She gave me some great gardening advice and helped me pick out a cute planter. I was also helped by the cashier, although I didn’t catch her name. They were both so kind and made me feel very welcome (I’m new to the neighborhood) In addition to their flowers and indoor plants, they had all sorts of cute gifts and even some funky jewelry! I hope to stop by again very soon :)

Excellent service on late notice. Chris was a pleasure to speak with. Make the experience easy and comfortable. Flowers were gorgeous and delivered promptly. Delivery driver was also meticulous and polite.

Horrific Florist. If you could even call them that. My fiance sent me flowers. Flowers by Chris was supposed to send an arrangement valued at around $70 which is what my fiance paid for. It was called "pure happiness." Instead I recieved an assortment of foraged and wilted weeds and buds. Then when I called to get a resolution I was told I "just wanted to make a lot of trouble over nothing and that is what was paid for the order, nothing." Ruined the gesture my fiance was trying to make. I have been painfully ill recently and he was trying to make me feel better by sending me the flowers I love. What a nasty experience to have to deal with sarcastic old trashy people at this so called florist. Disgusting customer relations. Shouldn't be in business anymore. I never lost my cool and the florist never even offered to make it right in any way. I'm thinking about a lawsuit. Certainly this must be illegal somehow.

I am so sorry that I did not read the reviews before I ordered from this "establishment." I received brown roses on Valentine's day. When I called to let them know, Chris told me she did the purchaser a favor by delivering them because I was not in the area. They did give me a credit for $45 dollars, which I attempted to use to have birthday flowers sent to my sister, who works in a school. Chris took the order for $70 and said that I didn't have to worry about the difference. Well no wonder. They called me at 2:26 to say that the school never answered the phone and they would just deliver the next day. I told them that was unacceptable and they said would deliver to her house and they were on the way. A day later, she still has not received her flowers. Today when I called to check up on the status, she said she was sick of this because they have been dealing with me for 2 days and I gave them the wrong address, wrong number, etc. I had to hang up on her because she was so rude and disrespectful. If you decide to use this florist, please know you take a huge chance of ruining whatever occasion you are celebrating. They are horrible.

I ordered flowers from Avas Flowers who is a nation wide floral company that uses local florist to fulfill orders.

Unfortunately, they used Flowers by Chris. The flowers that were delivered weren't at all like what I ordered. When I called Chris, he said I shouldn't have ordered on line because he only got paid $20 of the $47 I paid, so all he was going to diver were $20 worth of flowers.

He rude and insulting and when my cousin called him, he was rude to her as well.

So not order anything from this man. He lacks professionalism and has zero customer service skills. Also do not order from Avas Flowers.

Chris doesn't deserve one star, but I had to choose something. F minus on quality and service.
