The host staff was unpleasantly snarky. Perhaps just the gentleman who may have also been the manager. Everyone else seemed pleasant. Food was excellent and came out timely. We sat at the communal table, which I thought wasn't going to be a pleasant experience, but the table was very large and places were set far apart. Honestly there was more space between parties here at the communal table than at most restaurants with individual tables crammed together.

The Maitre d' was very rude. I have frequented five-star hotels all over the world and have never encountered such a lack of graciousness.

Beautiful boutique hotel located in of Soho. Excellent service and friendly, helpful staff. The location is the true hero here, SoHo is an amazing place to just live in for a few days, highly recommended if you're the least bit interested in shopping or the general vibe SoHo has to offer.

Stopped in at The Mercer Kitchen for a late brunch/lunch while shopping in SoHo, and was very satisfied with the quality of both the service and the food. Ordered the rigatoni with meatballs, which was tender and flavorful. Also had a nice view of the open kitchen from my seat and got to watch the food being prepared for guests while I chatted with friends. Prices seem fairly typical for Manhattan. Would visit again and recommend to others.

Dinner was delicious, but slightly pricey. I ordered the Maine Halibut with stew for $42. Came in a shallow bowl and finished it in 5 minutes. Good portion control I guess, but you're not going to leave full unless you order an appetizer or dessert. Beer selection was unconventional (craft beer/international) for $14. My wife had a Grey Goose dirty martini for $18. Restaurant was bustling and slightly loud; don't come here if you seek tranquility. Staff is attentive and professional. I would recommend business casual attire.

Surprisingly mediocre service for such a nice place. Regardless, it's a nice place for breakfast or brunch. Gets busy. Love the hot dog, which is really an unexpected menu item.

Great location and ultra modern vibe. It's a cool place to go if you just want to chill before you shop or if you're ending your day in the city. I would highly recommend.

A couple issues. We sat down at the table with four people total. Service was quick and attentive. Two people had allergy issues and that's where the problems began. One friend ordered a salad and communicated his dairy allergy, and a salad was brought with cheese. We were billed for both that salad and the replacement. Another friend ordered soup and communicated his tomato allergy. A soup was brought and we were told that it does not contain tomatoes. Ten minutes into the meal, another man came out of the kitchen to tell him that is DOES contain tomatoes. He had already finished 1/3 of the bowl of soup. Meal was over-billed. Poor experience.
